There's shitposting and then there's this. Tommy A, Charleson, etc, yeah I can understand, but Lorenz looks like the one talent we've been able to nail from that draft.

He's only starting season #2, after a debut season where he was able to perform this well in the wooden spooner side?

Lorenz deserves a crack, has been looking really classy at SANFL level.

You could rest Moraes for Lorenz and I'd be fine with that. But Moraes comes back straight in the week after. And the player that misses out for me is Boak. Even in the first half against Hawks, he was dropping simple marks and seemed out of touch.

I said at the start of the year that Boak will be causing issues for us on selection table. And that's what's happening right now. For me his best role is sub.

Funnily enough, I just re-watched the game twice and there was a lot of fumbles. 2 uncontested drop marks that luckily didnt result in a turnover. Didn't directly turn it over thankfully but he was somewhere in terms of player rankings for us. I am just not sold that he's having the output I want from a winger. I look at his stats vs Hawks game and I think if thats from an inside midfielder then thats fine. But modern day wingers need to have high quality ball use and ability to run up and down. He has the latter, he's far off from the former. I am not opposed to him going back into inside midfield with Rozee playing HB. But for me, he's not a winger. FWIW I still believe he can have a good impact in centre bounce

Yeah this is right but in all our other games he had been very important and he was really the one we missed in that saints game. He is very good to throw into the inside when we come under fire like in the 4th quarter against hawthorne. But he is not the type of player that should be sub, he either plays or he doesn't.
Also from what I saw his kicks throughout the game were fine and no shocking turnovers. He is one of our main wingers and I trust him a lot more to run out a game then most of team, this showed in that fourth quarter where lots of our players went quiet, and looked out of legs. He was still running hard, and having an impact. But i definitely thing he should go into more cba's and swap with wines onto a forward flank as wines can play chf with his size, and boak is a good leader down their for the younger forwards. In the game I noticed that he had very good communication in the forward line and wing with structure, and lots of the places he pointed the ball went and we were able to win. But if we are to play him sub in should be against a worse team where he won't be missed, boak could easily dominate on the wing against sydney, just look at collingwood's wingers this week.

Not a change for the game against Swans, but if we get BZT back in 3 weeks without any more injuries it'll be very interesting. Esava imo has been surprisingly good since he's come back. Do we play 3 tall backs and push Bergman into midfield?

No. Bergman's cover defense is crucial. 3 talls didn't work last year & still won't imo.
