Bergman looking like he’s going to return home. St.Kilda are after him but we need to be after him
Actually disagree here. Love him as a player but we don't need another medium whose kicking is below average.

Just looked at his season stats - granted a small sample size - but goes at 68% DE. Definitely doesn’t look like it, always thought he was one of the better users in their side, but I trust the stats in this one

He's pretty bad kicking wise. Wasn't too bad last night but he's not great more often than not.

he cut us apart off the backline, but his disposals often went to bad contests and struggled to be advantageous for port.

In terms of draft I really like the look of Rodriguez and Onley for different reasons for us.

eDPS anybody you would love to see us grab in the top ten?
It’s too early to have any firm grasp on the top 10 for this year. I don’t have Onley close to that range but I do really like Rodriguez. Cody Curtin and Liam Hetherton I really like as tall options.

Nice. What seems off about Onley? You know a hell of a lot more than me but from what I have seen he looks like that big bullying mid that is popular at the moment.

They aren’t as popular as you think at club land. His kicking is fairly poor he needs to be more damaging as he is a pure mid aswell.

I dunno I kinda liked Saad's hands and speed coming out of the backline, looked composed and slick for a first gamer and was a point of difference. It was however only one game and he was a sub so his energy wasn't indictive of a full game player.

He’s welcome to do that from the wing, pushing into the backline and then providing run out of there.

As an actual defender and those instincts, he’s got a long way to go.

How far off is he defensively?
Asking because in McGrath we've got a defender who is a bumbling attacker.
Do not think he has it as a defender unless you are playing him just as an attacking half back and someone else rolls back.

Well I don't mind this. We looked so good with his run from back there. I'd hope he can be taught a bit of defence.
I would prefer we develop guys who can defend to play their and allow SEH to ply his trade on the wing with Duursma and Martin myself.

Martin troubles me because he also seems more inclined to press forward rather than push back. Duursma is the value winger for two-way running, but Durham was too when he was there.
In saying that, I see Durham as a mid first and winger second. I just want to look after him up to the bye if he's sore.

A SEH who can defend a bit would be good 🙂
Think Saad is clearly a wing / forward so some speed at half back would be good.

Harley has signed a 6 year extension.

With puma.
Puma aka Essendon’s apparel sponsor….

I guess it also meant nothing when Bailey Smith signed a big deal with Cotton On
