Butters is just using it as an excuse to move back to VIC and get out of a rebuild mode port.So hear me out... They are saying Butters is open to leaving Port because he is so close to Hinkley, who is obviously leaving. Sack JL, appoint Ken on the proviso that he can bring Butters with him. Exactly the type our midfield needs. Electric pace. Young can then go back to Half back and give us that pinpoint ball user that generates scores from the back half. It's the piece that unlocks it all. Gotta be bold Freo! Make it happen.
Agree but if we aren't throwing a godfather offer at him then we aren't doing our job. He's from Bacchus Marsh, there really isn't anything there to rush home for. Particularly when you can slide straight into a premiership window, join what would immediately be the best midfield in the comp and enjoy the west coast lifestyle. He also have that mongrel in him that our team desperately needs. Probably doesn't command quite as much as the Chad either.Butters is just using it as an excuse to move back to VIC and get out of a rebuild mode port.
I’m not sure but I did see a big bruise on Nat’s thigh.Apparently Sam Mitchell was here yesterday, talking to Oscar Allen, also interested in Harley.
Might have to check if he spoke to any Freo players?
Butters would be getting big offers, and you'd have to try and trump them to get him move the opposite way across the country.Agree but if we aren't throwing a godfather offer at him then we aren't doing our job. Not interested in the slightest
30 years old, contracted until 2028, and we have Robinson in 2026 who works in the same way.
Warner or Kozzie thanks
If Melbourne and Essendon are committing to a rebuild. What players can we target?
Judd McVee looks good, and could provide some run next year. Out of contract 2026.
Nic Martin would be a hard player to get. Exactly what we need, out of contract in 2027.
Anyone else from the sides starting a rebuild we can target.
Not sure about Carlton, they are probably at least 12 months away from admitting they need to rebuild.

If teams can pry Oscar Allan out of West Coast while he is captain and playing for the team he supported, then anyone is gettable. Its a long shot but if you don't ask, you don't get!50 k's out of Melbourne.
He would have played footy with lots of players from Melbourne, 90% of his friends would be working in Melbourne.
I doubt you would get him.
Agree! Flies for intercept makes and is physical and quick. Ideal player with Pearce and Draper playing on 1st and 2nd banana. Cox built a career off this but just doesn't seem to want it anymore.I’d love Leek Aleer instead.
The bloke is exactly the type we need down back.
Yes it’s not really a need but he should only cost a second. Bloke is not getting a game…maybe with Coxy having a few issues he might like to go home?
Just want Kozzie from Melbourne…
West Coast are intentionally offering Allen a short deal.
