• Says that Melbourne will take Lindsay or Allan with their pick before us, and that we'll take whoever is left.
• Says that we'll use our first four picks on mids and use 18 on whichever key forward slides
• Reckons Reid is a gun, but AFL clubs have question marks on him making it as a midfielder, hence why he is sliding.

That actually did happen with the hawks and buddy franklin in 2004

I remember that. Not sure if it's still the same now, but back then the club read out a reference number and then the players name.

There was another player named Lance Franklin in that draft (who would have been considered to even be rookied).

The Hawks were in the half way of reading out the reference number before realising it was the incorrect one and quickly corrected themselves before completing the selection.

Would have loved it if they selected the wrong Franklin and the next club quickly selected the correct Franklin.

Also back then it was a case of names were read out immediately after each selection and none of this waiting 4 mins for the next selection BS these days.

i'm suspicious of that because in old mate hicksy's final phantom he had us taking jagga at 7 instead of him sliding to 14

The only way you're getting Tauru is taking him at 2 or trading pick 2. You'll have to choose between FOS and Tauru. Can't have both.
