You know, normally good posters on forums give reasons as to why they disagree with someone’s ideas. Not just make snarky remarks.

Now Ratten can get in the team he wants with a few new ideas , the guys that are leaving have all had input into this side and have made the team better than what it was when they came , now we can refresh with the new coaches and hopefully they will help in the development of the younger guys to make the next step which will determine we we end up in the next few years.

I want one for the mental image of Plugger having group sex.

Just the dim sim breath would make you

It's going to be interesting if a player nominates us like a Hopper or Dunkley if we use our first round pick or do we just back in Gresham , Bytel and Clark , because if we do pickup a good mid it will just hamper the development of them.
Or we pick up a guy like Goater in the draft who can play everywhere - midfield , forward and back.

We already know how good hopper and Dunkley are so it would make the side stronger.

Let us ignore the Battle as part of a fantasy deal for BKING for 2022

However with the emergence of Sharman Battle is probably one of our very few tradable that other teams may want, that we can actually afford to let go.

Ratts does not seem to want to play him at CHB, and we already now have Highmore, Wilkie and Coffield as tallish back flankers. Smalls in Sinclair, Webster Clarke and Paton. As well as Hill etc.

Up forward for 2022 we have King FF, Marshall CHF (rotating with Paddy) with Membrey and now Sharman. Plus Wood has proven to a capable "fill-in" forward.

Battle is not a winger etc. So where does he now play?

So yes I think Battle may be on the trade table. The deal may not get done, but I think that they will test the waters.
The whisper at the time was Battle was going to play Key Back in the second half of the year. Then he went down.

nonetheless a full body physical and Either Talia or Tarrant should be a target.

sell battle to the highest bidder. Gamble and take a first next year if you are feeling lucky.

Can we put any package together for Nic Nat? West Coast, where are they atm? I think their list is stuffed and almost need to go full rebuild.. I think we are only 5% off from really competing for a flag and that 5% can be organic.. We’ve got Mids that if developed right can become really good players.. I think someone like Nic Nat would put us over the top.. Not sure he’s gettable at all but do the Eagles know who they’re atm?? Not sure they do..

Indeed, and with Dunstan and Ross both gone there is still another spot.
Checked out some of Dunkleys work and he would be very handy but seems to miss a few games and he wasnt considered good enough for the dogs midfield a while back and he tried to get a trade after spitting the dummy. Not "killing it" this year but that could change if he plays very well this weekend.

Ryder's enough.

If we’re dreaming of midfielders I want someone with speed and elite skills, dunkleys not it.

Makes sense, especially if you guys lose Crouch. Apparently was very close to moving to you last year, but you guys pulled out at the last minute which might impact his decision since he reportedly has a few clubs interested in him.

He gets a bad wrap at times because of his kicking isn't great, but is a good inside midfielder who can do a job if necessary.
Last year he would of gone to any club who wanted him , now the Crows will have to pay overs for him because he will take the best offer and the Suns want him badly.

That's the whole idea of "trade"
If you don't give anything of value, you don't get anything of value back.

I'm not over the moon about trading anyone , but i don't get the attitude that you only trade garbage.
I just expect Battle is still got massive upside and why get rid of him when we have no key positions players now, so he is needed , if he was excess for sure. -- just what I feel --

It would be interesting if the Suns offered us 2 first round picks for Membery , knowing they said they have had enough of kids in the draft.
I would take that , I would trade Battle for a pick in the top 10 if it came to it as well , suppose it all comes down to what is offered
