How likely is it looking that Zak Jones comes to the club? Out of all the players we've been linked to this year he's the one I wish we don't get. Ratten spoke about how our skills are lacking after the Sydney loss and a player like Jones just does nothing to address that issue

The Ryder get I like, he probably takes the best defender up forward and Marshall gets a break in the ruck, a few times late in games he dropped in the 4th quarter. Other than just getting some linebreaking pace I don't see the reason in getting Jones

Yeah, he was probably my player of the year. I can't remember what game it was but that game he seemed to prowl the forward line like a young Wayne Carey was amazing. I want to see him play again soon.

If we could get pick 12 for Bruce, then move 12 and future 2nd or 3rd for Hill and keep pick 5... well that would be the stuff of dreams wouldn't it.

In a roundabout way we gave up pick 12 or 13 for Tom Lee, so 12 for Bruce shouldn’t be too much a stretch surely.
