I'm pretty bullish about Tauru, I think his upside is higher than both Battle and CaminitiI reckon a backline of Battle Camintti and Wilke would have been mint.

Said from the start, it was a win win trade for both clubs.Haha, no way.. there would be a bloodbath revolt…..
Seriously though, happy Jack is playing on and doing really well with the Sainters. A smart player and would still be handy with us.
But he wasn’t getting field time and I can understand why he wanted to move on to a club that could give him that,
He has very good acceleration for the first 15m. He ain’t slowI wouldn't call him quick but he makes the right decisions and hits targets which is something we have needed for a long time
Noticed on your board the thread practically calling Sanders a bust.
What’s the go there?
Also with Croft & Busslinger?
Bit of poachable young talent at the Kennel.

Saints got a required quality inside mid, Dogs wanted to blood more kids in the guts, saved the difference between Macrae's contract and Kennedy's, and you got a bloke that was instrumental in the Dogs beating Carlton.
One of those good news trades.

I'm wrapt to see Jimmy getting some praise. I reckon I've shouted out as many "well done Jimmy" as I have for anyone else on our list over the past few years. He's the cleaner. Mops up on aisle 5 before anyone else knows there's a mess about to happen. Game after game consistency. A very good argument that we missed finals last year because of his suspension.Really pleased to see Jimmy getting some love here. At half time I said to the person I went to the game with that if we won, a lot of praise would (rightfully) go to Sincs, Macrae, Higgo etc., but that Jimmy has been absolutely massive.
Guys in his position rarely get the praise they deserve, but Jimmy has been one of the first names on the team sheet for a very long time.
Watching the Dragons/Jets game at Moorabbin. He’s more of a utility/interceptor, and probably not quick enough for the zippy smalls.
Maybe our NGA kid…?

But we shouldnt get Bergman because we'll have him instead!Watching the Dragons/Jets game at Moorabbin.
Fincher has kicked into the man on the mark, rode a bloke into the ground and given away a free, the kicked long to a 2-on-1 against…
But he’s clearly their get out kick from defence. Well built young kid; strong arse and legs.
The most spectacular bad decision that comes to mind is Nathan Buckley leaving a "developing" Brissy(the Bears in those days) to go to "premiership hopeful's" Collingwood. There's nothing less impressive than shopping for a Premiership team. It was great when Ryan Griffen left bulldogs for a flag, only to miss out on one. Deledio is the same.
No respect for any of those guys.
That really highlights the depth we are now compilingB: Webster - Howard - WilkieI think, realistically, that above is our “Best 18” with an extended bench of hopefuls who haven’t looked overawed.
HB: Sinclair - Caminiti - Wang.-Mil.
C: Hill - Windhager - Wood
HF: Phillipou - Sharman - Butler
F: Higgins - King - Owens
Foll: Marshall - Steele - Macrae
Int (from): Henry Wilson Clark Stocker Jones Hall Keeler Garcia O’Connell Hastie Collard Travaglia
Not considered: Dow Carroll*
*unconfirmed injury timelines
It will be very interesting to see what the club does once we’re approaching a fully fit list.
You too.Yeah it was, at the end of the day Jack has to do what’s good for Jack. I still think Jack would have been handy to have against Collingwood last week in the absence of Bont & Treloar.
Anyway, best of luck to Jack and your team this season.
*Full BackCaminiti leading the comp in marks after not getting near it in round one. He is the centre half back we have been looking for.
What are you on about? But we shouldnt get Bergman because we'll have him instead!
They play different roles. Hammer was more dougals replacement.Small sample size but shows you why some posters were confident we could replace battles output. Challenge for Caminiti is to now produce this output regularly and become as reliable as Josh was.
Who was the journo after round 1 tweeting Richmond v saints was 50/50?Port next week has to be a game we win.
Accept we lose to the Giants.
Dogs back at Marvel. Henry King Howard Pou Clark Stocker fit?
Lions don’t scare me as much without Daniher. But that’s a likely L.
Only Peris I think.Have we delisted any of the kids Ross has blooded yet?
(Genuinely can’t remember)
I think he has done a very good job of balancing the blooding of youth and the competitiveness.
What we just need however… is another 2-3 to go from what they are into the Owens or Nas levels.
Caminiti looks an obvious one now that it’s a very simplified ask for him.
Pou is the great white hope.
Travaglia and Tauru could be anything but it’s still very early days as to the limit of what that is.
Yep. Good one. Couldn’t remember him.Only Peris I think.
Wear your stains with pride. How good ... Carlton 15th, Essendon 13th, Port 12th & Saints in the top 8. Oh my, I have to change my undies.
He called himself the dirty back pocket player but that is being quite negative to himself. He is as hard as, kicking and disposal first class, quick and brave. Hope he hangs around for a few more years.Really pleased to see Jimmy getting some love here.
