Collard's first goal shouldn't be underestimated. On the surface it's a joe the goose but I reckon Holmes kills that ball 90% of the time. Two-footed standing jump that was high enough to reef it away from him before doing the rest. Got some tricks
I've seen enough less talented players who butcher goals from the goal square under pressure not to take it for granted. He has a natural nous for getting himself into position, and then actually kicking goals, which is sort of important in that caper.

Good to see Ross rewarding a winning team by going with the same line up that beat Geelong apart from the two forced changes.

A couple of good inclusions too with Sharman back and our top 10 draft pick Travaglia getting a crack, some exciting times ahead.

I don’t mind that team selection. Forced changes only rewarding success from last week.
Those knocking at the door get to display their wares again in the vfl.
Which I might add, Sandy will probably have the worse team ever.

Mitch Cleary on Ch7 with his notable inclusions for Round 3, no mention of Sharman, he's still being underrated outside of St Kilda

I’m fine with him playing against us underdone tbh

Even an underdone Butters will still be better than a lot of Port's other players, I'm hoping he misses another week.

He played 70 minutes & had 6 posessions & 2 assisted goals.

Would of thought you'd have to work harder than that.

Just ask Butler.

You may say Henry is different

Yeah OK, he comes in & has 20 posessions, 2 goal assists & kicks 2 himself.

Good/different, I'm taking that instead

With Butler, Henry & Higgins in the 23 or any two of em.

Collard bides his time.
strange take, easily the hardest position to play on the ground, you want to pot a raw, skinny 4 game 20yo.

ps, Henry isn't a small forward

Tony74's post is intriguing. We're all waiting to see who the two who didn't make it through training are, and who might replace them.

Some are saying LOC hurt his calf and will not make it, the identity of the forth out is as yet unknown.

Anyone with any ideas?
tony74 Is not one to mess around, so either there will be a late change or two or someone has gotten lucky and avoided an injury and its been realised as the day has gone on.

Carroll not being even an emergency is a bit of a surprise to me, he's training well and is getting some VFL form behind him.

If Irish plays and I strike out a second time, I'm officially going to stop guessing injuries.

I still find it hilarious that all of the AFL media forgot to mention Macrae in their lists when trying to predict the best recruits from other clubs (prior to round 1).

It's just a St Kilda thing, even Jake Stringer talk gets more attention due to the injectors fan base.

We are only good for being linked to every OOC player because the media likes to laugh at how desperate we are.
