Coventry had 11 finals games where he kicked 5+ (Dusty just 1).

Of the 11 it included bags of 9 and 7 in winning GFs, he also kicked 100% of the teams goals in another GF (easily could have had 3 norm smiths if awarded at the time).

Both of their careers lasted a long time from as far back as 1979 to 1994.

We hear about Gary Ablett Seniors goal tally in those 4 grand finals and the finals he played in those grand final years.

I am curious on how many good finals some of those cats midfielders played.

Paul Couch won a Brownlow medal in 1989. Did he have a good finals series in 1989?

Mark Bairstow played in the 1989 and 1992 grand finals. He retired after the 1994 grand final. How many decent finals did he play?

Gary Hocking played from 1987 to 2001. So that's another cat that played lots of finals.
