An old timer like G.Coventry kicked 111 goals in finals (Dusty 27)

Coventry had 11 finals games where he kicked 5+ (Dusty just 1).

Of the 11 it included bags of 9 and 7 in winning GFs, he also kicked 100% of the teams goals in another GF (easily could have had 3 norm smiths if awarded at the time).

Both of their careers lasted a long time from as far back as 1979 to 1994.

Mark Bairstow played in the 1989 and 1992 grand finals. He retired after the 1994 grand final. How many decent finals did he play?

Gary Hocking played from 1987 to 2001. So that's another cat that played lots of finals.

Dusty was good, but he is behind Ablett Jr who changed the way midfielders play, he's on a par with Voss, Black, Judd, Cousins and Pendlebury as far as those who have played this century.
