I'm jealous. Did they (he?) open with Kaiserion and close with Square Hammer?
Sure did. Plenty of YouTube footage of the show. Papa Nihill miming the saxophone solo on Miasma was so good. Kiss the Go-Goat, Watcher in the Sky and Dance Macabre were my highlights but it was all awesome.

It's a long way off, but got two tickets to Iron Maiden, baby! September 2024 at Rod Laver.

Me too, should be fun! I had tickets to them in May 2020, that got cancelled for some reason or another.

Yeh, me too. I've somehow managed NOT to see Iron Maiden live and even when I had tickets last time COVID screwed it all up.

Enjoy!
I’m not a huge fan but they put on a great show.
Bruce Dickinson is one of the great rock frontmen and the band is tight as a duck’s bum.

Not upcoming anymore, but had an absolutely fantastic weekend of live music.

Trophy Eyes on Thursday night.
Thornhill supported by Holding Absence on Friday night.

The former and the latter are two more bucket list bands ticked off.

Thornhill absolutely blew the roof off the Forum Theatre. First saw them in 2018 at the same venue as the local support for Parkway Drive's 10 years of Horizons tour. Didn't think much of them from a live perspective at the time.
Have managed to catch them regionally since then in 2021. Thought they had improved a lot.

Now they are their own beast with a unique sound, aesthetic and super eccentric and talented front man. Very excited to see what they produce next.

Jacob has gotten so much better live in the last few years. Really made a huge difference.
