No wonder football clubs in the inner west are struggling. As soon as they get a little bit of money, they splurge on the worst kind of recruits who are there for cash and cash only. As soon as it runs out they’re gone.

Wow that’s a big statement. Do you know the graham boys? Big inclusions and good on them. The article said they live in the area and have mates there so good on them.

If Schulz is confirmed he actually played at st Kevin’s for multiple years a great bloke

They actually live in West Footscray (maybe yuppies lol). Does a club have to sit bottom of the second division they're whole lives or can they actually not pay a player for 4 years and save some cash and have a go at it? Or does the league have to revolve around clubs that just WRFL loves?

Well said Roosters and good luck to West

👏👏👍👍 I agree with Andy well said. West have done it tough but keep competing. Good luck to them as a couple of decent players will definitely take you far in this division.
Always respected West as a club. Done it tough in that area with low standard facilities and a ground that’s not one of the best, but they keep going year after year. Lot of history though at West with some loyal people.

Probably getting a bit ahead of things there but they are a club that stayed up in first division when the div 2 premiers refused to go up.
So whilst I commend them for doing so, they arent recruiting blokes like this to Not win the flag. So on that basis, hopefully they have a sustainable plan to progress.

But a forward line of Mccallum and Schultz being fed by two of metro Melbourne's better midfielders, on a postage stamp. Expect some big scores

Was going to say something similar about scores.

Shultz is not playing at West Footscray.

Was talking to a bloke who has a bit to do with Manor Lakes yesterday. He was saying that they’re “confident” of fielding senior teams in division 2 (not 3) next season.
