I'm 3 eps down on The Gentlemen, getting over my initial disappointment that it wasn't a prequel or sequel... I'm really enjoying it so far. Geeze a lot has gone on in 3 eps

Watching this Damsel movie. About 50 minutes in. I would assume myself when trying to hide from a dragon in caves one wouldn't be continually shouting and screaming whilst trying to maintain a low profile. But that's just me.

Probably won himself some new fans with the way he conducted himself compared to Prince who only wanted to turn up if he could play guitar in another room away from everybody hehe!

Also felt sorry for the lady who felt used and that she was only there because she knew Prince.
He he. Shelia E. As if she and her stupid cow bell would get a slot on the song. She was the prince bait basically.
As for Dylan, to his credit he was there for the full 10 hours and finally found his range.
Huey Lewis and Lionel Ritchie both came out of the doco really well, Huey especially seems like a good guy.

Anyone over the continuous supply of Cults and Crime docos? I know there’s probably a market for it but seems to be a monthly occurrence

I was over it about 3 years ago but it's not like we are forced to watch them.

But every 3 or so months one comes along that I do watch.

Finished The Gentlemen, loved it.
I know plenty couldn't stand Freddy but he was perfect chaos on it.

Loved Vinny Jones' character as well

We got through "Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War," and while it's pretty heavy going, it's a fascinating history of the world from WW2 to the current Ukraine crisis. It packs in a lot of information and has many interesting people offering commentary. The fall of the Soviet Union was especially interesting. I recommend it.

i can watch most so long as i space them out. anything other than a limited series is a big commitment though.

it does bring to mind more ethical questions. is there a point where they can be considered profiting at victims' expense (ie, families upset at dahmer-dad book sales)? they probably tread safer with it on account of involving the victims (or family of), 'giving them a voice', perhaps even paying them.

X - Horror? Movie on Netflix

Jenna Ortega and Mia Goth star in this attempt at porno-horror

A group of pr0n actors head to a backwoods locale where they are met by an old old couple and hijinks ensue

Neither horror nor drama it ( I assumed) tried to make the point that aging is terrible and contrasting the activities of the old and young

Written, Directed, Edited, Produced by Ti West this is a companion piece to Pearl also starring Mia Goth

There is a scene early where the porno cameraman explains that utilising multiple camera angles can hide the cheapness of a movie

They used multiple camera angles
