I've got mates who are mostly left leaning, want to see more socialist services provided by the government but wants less immigration

You can't put everyone in a bucket and say they all agree on every topic because they agree on one topic

Her trying to bring up a man's criminal past as a counter point on why someone decided to put the knee on a mans throat for 8 minutes while he screamed for his mother while he slowly choked to death

Thats why shes a campaigner. Shes articulate sure. Still doesnt mean shes not a campaigner. Also in no where in talking did I bring up race or Gender nowhere in my post did i mention male/female/colour.
Shes a campaigner because of her viewpoints and several instances where shes said provocative things to inflame situations rather then be a rational human argue her point without being a campaigner, its not isolated incidents.

Shouting over the top and cutting off anyone/everyone (even in this threat all we hear is the racist cries instead of actual discussion.
Physical attacks have started, although sporadic, but becoming more common.

I don't deny there are issues on both sides of politics though, and trge that the majority can't see their own nose to spite their face

Are you against public schooling and public healthcare? Are you against having public roads that you can use without having to pay? Footpaths? Parks?

We already have socialist elements in our society that most conservatives seem to take for granted and happily use, in Australia at least.

It's usually only certain types of social reform that people are against, and news flash there are people that would think of themselves as on the left or progressive that would also be against some of those reforms. Just like there are people that think of themselves as on the right or conservative that would like to see them brought in.
