[Re-release] Premiership Coach 2011 - Free for all to play

I am happy to announce that all gamers are now able to download and play the Premiership Coach 2011 game for free. This re-release is fully approved by the developer of the game and he encourages anyone who has enjoyed the game, to feel free to give a copy of the game to your friends.

Below there are two methods of installing the game. The "quick install" is the full game (this is a smaller file vs the full install), it just doesn't contain prerequisite framework stuff that most people already have. The "full install" is the full game, including the prerequisite framework that some people may need. Either way you install, you should have a fully functioning PC2011 game on your computer as the end result.

Please note: there is also a short message from the Premiership Coach developer regarding a future Premiership Coach game.

For any interested people unsure about giving the game ago, below is a link with a review of the game with a few screen shots, hopefully that might sway you!

Any questions, I will try my best to answer.

Demo Mode issue: Just to reiterate, to fix this issue you will need to use the .dll sitting in the quick install zip file, NOT THE .dll SITTING IN THE FULL INSTALL ZIP FILE.

Is this game still available to download and play? The links above sent me to a unusable website

Still waiting 2 years on...

Surprised it has been 3 years already since the source code was released. I answered this in another thread just before that I stopped working on it once Grenville resumed development.

No plans to continue development on my side but I may take a look at what I had done.

Started playing this yesterday for the first time since I had it as a disc years ago.
Started at Gold Coast in the 2011 season as their inaugural coach, first thing I did: Hire Ben Cousins as a specialist coach.

I'd be more than happy to do development stuff if you wanted it to still be worked on!

People need to realise one thing about this game, since it’s beta stage (I was a beta tester). Everyone involved has been very hit and miss with timelines ect. Someone pops up every 3 months saying they’re gonna ‘create new lists’ or ‘update the game’ it rarely happens. Just be happy with what we’ve got. Or do a uni degree on coding and do it yourself.

Just getting that 18th team in would be great :)

That was the first thing I did when I started developing the code further. I managed to get GWS in with seemingly no issues.

I did a few other changes such as making sure brownlow votes are counted for the extra game and some other things but seeing so many other problems just made me stop developing it further.

Is there a way to play the original game? Would love play this again. I’m pretty s**t with tech/computers but do have a laptop so I’m sure I can figure it out

Does anyone know how to mod the game to change the name of a team? I'm trying to put together a Tassie list to replace Gold Coast, but I can't change the team name in the data files without triggering a load screen crash.

You can change team names in the game settings, it allows both name and nickname changes. Still will be stuck with colours though

I tried that but it only adjusts the banner at the top of the career home screen. It's only really useful for changing the mascot name of a club. Doesn't alter the city name on the Ladder, Calendar or anywhere else.

I tried changing that manually in the "Clubs" data folder but that edit is causing the crash.

Just play this if you're looking for an AFL style manager game. It's up to date and pretty good. Everything is customisable too and it's still being worked on by the developer.

Must add that you can buy games on steam and play for up to 2 hours, so if you don't like it you can get a full refund. Also if you want updated logos, jumpers, rosters, historical rosters etc look up the discord for that.

I just tried to download the game and the website does not work. Anyone have any idea of what I can do?
