Ahhh dammit :( Ahh well will see how I go.

These would have to be the longest bloody credits I've ever seen. Had it on in the background but now am leaving it on just out of curioisity to see how long they go. Been over 20 minutes.

Credits are rolling. I'm so proud of me :D Fantastic games.

Might replay Skyrim now. Hoping since the last time I finished it (a month after launch) they have patched all the issues that stuffed up a couple of my questlines.
Which side did you take? Did you play the DLCs?

God I need to buy this game again. (My disc no longer works not sure why as it has no physical damage by eye).

Caesar's Legion and the Great Khans. No particular reasons it's just how it ended up

Gee wouldn't think many would just end up with CS without trying. Regardless they are the most intriguing faction perhaps thats what dragged you in? DLCs? All four are top notch in vastly different ways. Well worth a go if you haven't already played them.

Might play through this again soonish. Heaps of fun. Loved the gang "The Kings", for obvious reasons :p

Online would have been awesome.

One of my fav series.

Hi guys. Seeing though New Vegas is cheap as hell now. Is it worth getting? I haven't played them before but I really liked Skyrim. The post apocalyptic world sounds really cool. Has the game dated much?

I had it sitting in my pile of shame for a couple of years and only started playing it about a month ago.

I had an issue with a broken quest so I started from scratch again and really enjoying it.

I've also got Old World Blues and the Lonesome Road DLCs, loved OWB and will get into the Lonesome Road over the weekend before choosing continuing on with the main story line.

I love the options available for character development in the game. Current character is a sniper/unarmed hybrid.

This is the first of the Fallout games I've played but on the strength of it I bought Fallout 3 during the Steam Summer Sale.

Yup, worth getting, if you liked Skyrim you can't go wrong. I was kind of the opposite. Loved Fallout and ended up giving Skyrim a go on the back of that and ended up loving it too.

I know people haven't been talking about this much but thought I should post this.
It's a short film about Lanius. Done by some Aussie boys as well.
I wanna add - they managed to get the voice actor for Lanius.
Makes it amazingly better.

That was damn awesome

I finally caved! Just picked this up for cheap on 360. Any advice? Any dlc worth downloading etc
Caved? It is an amazing game.

I really enjoyed Old World Blues. Not so much the other DLCs.

My advice if you haven't played Fallout before is to make your Character have max Intelligence and Minimum Charisma. Also if you max luck then you win every hand in the casinos. Which can be handy for the assorted upgrades at the medical center.

High speech is easy mode.

In my honest opinion all of the DLC is worth it bar Honest Hearts (apart from a few high points)

Do the DLC after you hit about level 20 in this order
Dead Money -> Old World Blues -> Lonesome Road

If you do get Honest Hearts do it before Dead Money.

Got the Ultimate Edition as a Chrissie present to myself - it's still fifty eight dollars for a 'used' copy at EB - could not find a single copy in the pre-owned section at JB or at a Cash Converters, so can't compare prices. It was the ONLY pre-owned game in the entire shop that DIDN'T have a discount sticker on it. Girl behind the till thought that because it was rare to see an ultimate edition now the price stayed high.

The game itself is awesome, cool and grouse though. Can't make up my mind if it's better than Fallout 3 yet, but all the little nods back to the very first 'post nuclear roleplaying game' (music, giant mantises, mentions of Shady Sands and The Hub) are great. Still have the first Fallout on my hard drive and play it from time to time.

There's been a few mission glitches, like Wang Dang Atomic Tango where some mission options won't end despite being met. Apart from that it's been a f*cking hoot!

At it's core I think it's better than Fallout 3. The wasteland is a little more interesting, more variety of creatures, more factions etc makes it a better experience to explore (Fallout 3 was also great to explore though). The only thing that let's it down is that the game is riddled with glitches. Despite that, it was a great experience and one of my favourite games.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, when I entered the Gamorah casino the game slowed down to the point of being unplayable. I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem or if it may be just my game.

do love this game, have sunk some serious hours into it. ultimate edition with the courier stash, gun runner arsenal. played through with all the faction variations, doing another go through for ncr at the moment. hardcore mode, etc.

melee is overpowering with the super-slam perk. also the invisible walls on the edge of the map annoy me. still can't figure out why i can't hotkey '2' to a weapon when x changes the ammo type. find it odd that you lose karma stealing from bad people.

i like all the dlc, i like to play honest hearts early on. i found lonesome road a bit annoying, not in the way it played which was fine but the main character just waffled on. dead money will make use of your quicksaves, and old world blues is hilarious.

can't split with fallout 3. obviously they play differently in the questlines but in terms of that desolate exploring experience, pretty much the same.

In my opinion New Vegas would be twice the game that 3 is if Obsidian weren't forced to rush it to appease Bethesda.

A lot of things like the Legion, the Strip, weapons etc were cut to reach deadlines.

As it stands I still prefer it over 3, if only for the things it added (follower wheel, mods on weapons, a story that's actually ok)
