The Darley Junior Footy club has been accepted into the ballarat league last night which is great for the club and also for the league.

Interesting happenings at sunbury.
It looks like anybody who plays them next year could be playing the RDFL interleague side. apparently signed 10 top players from the league[/quote)

Why would Urch play for the biggest chokers in the BFL????
clearly a bit of cash thrown around once again from darley, who have s**t youth so they look elsewhere to buy a premiership.

Dont be too quick to dismiss darley in 09, not only are they seeking out new players but all the coaches and trainers are under going extensive training on the correct way to do the heimlich maneuver.
A good investment by the club IMO

Wow, you obviously know nothing or are trying to stir some crap.
16-17 of our senior players last year were our youth. All come up from our juniors. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and reckon you had a go at stirring the pot. Not a very good attempt silly old benson, everybody knows our young players and locals are more than up to it.
And if Urch wants to come and play with his mates then good luck to him.

Not much going on at ballarat based clubs.

Recruiting seems to be very low key unless clubs have got a few big names unders there hats???!!!

Players leaving left, right & center to minor leagues in the area.

Darley are recruiting ex AFL players Sunbury ex RDFL. Darley was clearly the best team in 08 and will be very strong again in 09. Urch will be the premier player in the comp.

have heard that ryan harris will be back at Ballarat after a failed stint in the SANFL when he finished last year at Balranald.

Nathan Thompson (Hawks/North) also rumoured to be heading to the swans. Would say this is just a rumour though.

Poor response.

As we sit here, with our cup we all realise we have accomplished greatness. It is sad some people like KA only look at such winners with green eyes and the realisation must hit how pathetic there little lives are.

There are many that are and want to talk to the mighty swans that will see us be powerful for years. Continue to watch this space.

What are the players like recruited to sunbury. Types etc.

Why would Callum Urch want to see his career go down the drain by playing at Darley. He would be better playing at least VFL and having a good year with the hope of going to SANL or better for the money?

If he does play for darley then it shows his character.

You must be from Redfern if you have wanted to move to the metropolis of darley and bacchus marsh, so you may be better going to melton south with a guy they call the phantom. His name is matt sutton. They are at least better blokes there. But my first choice would be the marsh as they have one more tooth.
