Leave him in until ANZAC day I agree. That match has a habit of showing true colors, good or bad

I agree, having the right intent is the main thing I think. Longer term give him a preseason program to thicken him up a bit.

Confidence is a big thing for Alwyn at the moment. Saw him pulling out of the local shopping centre car park earlier today and he really hesitated to put the foot on the gas and enter traffic. Mind you it was a rickety old chassis he was driving so as he upgrades over the next couple of pre seasons we may see a different Davey.

I really want to see that killer instinct in him that is what he is lacking at the moment he just plays to nice. Aside from that I thought he showed a couple of glimpses of what he could be.

He was good tonight I thought. Doesn’t have the tank to do it all game. But his run down on hinge in the 4th was huge

Sometimes the kids just need the coach to give them a role and show confidence in them. I reckon he will probably need a rest after Anzac Day. His brother might step in to the role for a week

Just going ok but think we have to play him as he’s the only player on the list who can apply that from chase down from behind pressure and worry forwards.

It’s really noticeable when you have that in the team as opposed to not.

Talk about the tyranny of expectation. Not to mention that with quick small forwards we've played 6 quarters of front half footy.

He had more meaningful pressure acts in an average game than Guelfi has in half a season.

Most of you are under-selling his contribution. His pressure acts are lightyears beyond what Menzie has offered and it shows in our recent performances. So so close to votes from me.

The pressure is immense. Have to keep a guy in like this. If his disposal cleans up and he can wear a tackle, he will be fantastic. He's very young and thin still.
