We were between a rock and a hard place with so many quality mids to choose from, but wild horses couldn't drag us away from our choice in the end.
Gimme shelter in the stands of the 'G, or for that matter, from my voodoo lounge so that I can allow this guy's footy skills to start me up.
I'm quite sure he'll never be our beast of burden.

Jaggers stat no.s are insanely good. Compare his no.s to Lalor and O’Sullivan and you have to wonder how we got him at 3. Sorry just needed to be said.

Elite. Smaller frame hurts him, but the rest is all there. No worries defensively.
Best tackler for mine is probably Lalor (aggressive tackler).
Yes. Probably the best at it in the draft.
Seriously, his only flaws are his attacking game needs work (but he's already shown he can do this, with him getting feedback earlier in the year about poor meters gained and immediately improving in this metric in his next half dozen games) and his light frame.
His decision making, endurance, evasiveness, follow up work, defensive running, footy IQ, professionalism, coachability, consistency and character are hard (read: next to impossible) to fault.
He was the best available at 3. In every metric he is better than the blokes taken at 1 and 2, its just he lacks the 'impact per possession' match winning turn of Lalor (who is a genuine bull, along the lines of De Goey or Dusty) or the high ceiling of FOS (classy, skillful but laconic).
About as sure fire a 200 gamer AFL player as you could want.
Plays and moves like Butters (or a Walsh/ Nick Daicos hybrid). Has the potential to be as good as any of those three (and at a bare minimum a solid A grader)
Skinny mid with a bogan name - plus those comments about proving the doubters wrong at VFL level - our boy has a healthy sized chip on his shoulder

It’s incredible that Adam Cerra and George Hewett will be fighting for a midfield spot against each other else will end up as subs. Just incredible.

I watched the game where he had 50 and 17 clearances. Kids ELITE. Does it against men already
Gotta say, I used to love the old days when the young recruits got something like number 54, and you'd have to paw through your footy record to work out who the **** it was....Go well Jagga - the number 7 awaits, we’ll wait the domination.
