Hear hear! What makes people think that Harley will leave if we don’t rapidly climb the ladder?
Does it ever occur to people that he is a young kid who just may be a “ loyal” young kid!!
Wow what a concept!
Can the “Success Now Or I’m Outta Here” brigade just gtfo!!
Sometimes, when looked at from an investment view, some of these deals actually make sense. Some just never will.C.Ronaldo's new contract is rumoured to be €185 million annually (AUD $300 million).
€500,000 (AUD $830k) A DAY.
So collecting 21 possesion in SANFL finals as bottom ager at HFF doesn't scream pick 1?Nowhere near. Based on his u16 year yes, based on last year no.
Stephen Coniglio had 17 disposals and kicked 4.1 in the 2010 WAFL grandfinal as a 16 year old (a 1 point victory for his side). Not only wasn't he a number 1 pick, but he isn't even in discussion for the best player from the draft.52 possesion in one game at under 16 level

He was also a predraft selection by GWS a year before he was eligible for the draft so it’s not really correct to say he wasn’t a number 1 pick

Nope he was selected in the draft. Not a pre draftHe was also a predraft selection by GWS a year before he was eligible for the draft so it’s not really correct to say he wasn’t a number 1 pick

Unfortunately Gossage one of the worst at asking any and all players, coaches and ex-players about Harley’s future at any opportunity he getsHarley could sign a nine year deal tomorrow morning, and Victorians would still be asking every day about him.
Far out my man you have done that wrong. When someone provides incontrovertible proof that you are wrong, you just blarwharble FAKENEWS and something about the msm and double down on stupid!!Well there you go
Always thought the was a predraft selection
Apologies to Underdog
Should’ve done my research first

Daniel Rich was floated as a no1 candidate in his draft year as was already very comfortable at Subiaco but slipped a bit due to his ceiling being lower than a few others at the time
Like Jack Watts
Sadly unless he signs an extension it will be news and a talking point. Even more so because of the so called journos that had info he didn’t want to come pre draft. Can we not spend the next two years speculating on whether Harley re-signs or not?
It's completely pointless.
Maybe, I’d contract value right now is pretty high. The reality is, the longer he waits, the more clubs including WCE will throw at him. He will be getting offers of 10yr @ 2m+ by the end of the year.
Still don't think WCE trade him this year as to move clubs next year, he will likely be the highest paid player in the game and will keep 99% his value whether in contract or not. IMO he will stay for at least 1 contract extension.
Daniel Rich was a pre-draft selection a year before he was eligible for the draft so he could have easily gone number 1, we'll never know.Daniel Rich was floated as a no1 candidate in his draft year as was already very comfortable at Subiaco but slipped a bit due to his ceiling being lower than a few others at the time
