I feel like this is a bad take.
Admittedly media often get stuff wrong, but people like Sam Edmund and Cal Twomey have contacts throughout the footy landscape and I think its ignorant to assume otherwise.
Yes they may be off the mark every now and then, but to go with something along the lines of Jack Graham is open to be traded, you'd have to be relatively confident.

He also did say that Graham is most likely to stay. Which will likely be the case.

So he can't be wrong.

I do know what you're saying though.

It's pretty clear how highly Richmond rate Graham both on and off the field.

This really is a nothing story in terms of what he's worth. If he truly wanted to leave it would be a huge financial incentive and therefore we would be appropriately compensated - We hold all the power here.

Port are desperate for midfield experience after losing out on Dunkley and will need to make a big offer to turn his head.

If he stays, we keep our best 2 way runner who played injured all year (turf toe). If he leaves, Port will have to pay up for our contracted player.

Trade news SEN
Jack Graham- far more likely to stay at Punt Road. Tigers will dig in to hold him despite interest from other clubs. Unlikely to be traded

Sammy has ZERO knowledge of anything happening at the club.
As seen we have 2 mid coming in so throwing a dart at who he thinks might move.
Can't believe he gets paid to write this stuff.
Caro was the first person to publicly link Taranto and Hopper to the club and she was first to mention Graham was being targeted. Edmund is ****en clueless but Caro has good mail. Expect him to be traded now if the right offer is made

Graham is a salt of the earth type of bloke that footy clubs love and need, handy player too - but for the right offer I'd consider it. Maybe throw something else in as a sweetener to get georgiadis?
I'd only take Marshall, and that's if Graham wanted to go, but I really hope Graham is going nowhere.

Don’t want to lose Jack, but, he’s under a contract that expires next year. I’d be sounding him out about his intentions after that contract expires.
If he’s keen to head back to SA, then I’d seriously look at trading him this year as we should get a much better return? If he indicates he’d stay on, try to extend now?

What do we think about Jed Anderson? If the ABC reports are correct, I have a suspicion he was one of those mentioned, he could be available if North continue with Clarko

Clubs have enquired, we are not shopping Graham out as he is a required player. Has nothing to do with Tarranto and Hopper more to do that he has one year left of his contract.

When was the last time we lost a required starting 22 player.?
Exactly.

If Graham does end up leaving - it will be at our price.

Very confident that he stays.

Was already rumored a few weeks back that Anderson would be out the door if Clarko got the job.
