basically just in order of bums on seats. its not going to change.
Tells you all you need to know about the extent of the AFL's commitment to an equal competition.

Don't stand between them and a dollar.

Do we start planning to pick over the corpse of Melbourne yet? I'd be okay with May or Salem on the cheap if they want one last crack at another flag

I’d hope Cody is talking to Petracca

Petracca’s Body language going back weeks now has been appalling and super visual. I remember a damning shot last week in the forward fifty, where he looked absolutely distraught and seemed to be one bad play/decision away from becoming a loose cannon.

He wants out of that Footy club so bad, he can’t be bothered to even hide it anymore. Makes me grateful to the Josh Dunkley’s of the league.

However, l do feel for Dees’s supporters. I remember the visual of Bont throwing his mouth guard on the turf so hard it sprung back into frame a few years ago. Not a good feeling.

If Dees play their cards right

They could get 9-12 picks over the next three drafts now that future trading has relaxed it's ruling
There would be some interesting discussions going on in clubland right now.

With the Tasmania drafts approaching, teams in the position of Melbourne, Carlton and Essendon are in for a decade of pain if they don't make some very hard decisions quickly.

Even Collingwood are very old and need some quality youth on their list.

Could be a wild trade period this year.

I think people are very harsh on Petracca. He went through on of the most traumatic injuries ever seen and the club didn’t have his back at all. I’m not sure how anyone could begrudge him being frustrated like that.

Oliver is the one who self sabotaged, as far as I can tell Petracca was pretty much the perfect team mate pre that injury.

I’ve got zero faith in Melbourne making any kind of rational thought. Especially with how their president speaks. He acts like a 12 year old posting on bigfooty.

Dees already having one plodding inside mid in Oliver on an absolute mint for 6 years then giving 4 years to an even more plodding Viney is such scared list management. They should have let Viney take that offer from his old man at North and opened up a spot in there for Rivers. Stark contrast to us extracting good value for Caleb out of North and replacing Macrae with a cheaper and better fit.

I can understand Petraccas frustration/despair completely. To go through such a harrowing multi trauma last year, and having all those open and honest conversations about change at that club - to see it amount to nothing would be absolutely maddening.

I thought he was good last night with what little help he had.

Petracca would be good but will go to a big club. May and Salem are both in positions of need (with half our best backline and about to retire) and may move for little trade capital

If we are into Butters I assume we will be seeing him in the brown and gold next season.
The AFL talk for butters is only because they currently have enough draft capital to get a deal done

That's not even the worst decision, they turned 2 first rounders down for Petty

Adelaide must be thanking the stars for that, much like us when the Lobbe deal was saved thanks to bad phone reception

I could see him at Collingwood.

I think the Dees have been active in picking up some talent, they got two beauties in last years draft, but they have the same tired game plan, and really need to trade out their ageing assets now.

The Rowell to Victoria stuff is very much linked to if Suns play finals

Dogs can get the capital to get both Butters and Rowell
But would require a lot of movement with future trading

Esp with Suns having some strong academy players over the next two drafts

It was a joke, because everyone we go after they get.

Also don't see any world in which we could get the capital for Butters and Rowell. Getting one of them is hugely unlikely, getting both is never happening.

Since your question didn't specify exactly what you were reaponding to, I will take a stab that you asking me to validate his reported likelihood of requesting a trade to Geelong.

It would be a combination of factors; namely the (albeit unreliable) AFL media landscape reporting, combined with him having been brought up in Warrnambool.

There are many rumours swirling around, and many are likely to be rubbish. However, a few on our board often know tidbits which have historically turned out to be correct.

What has been discussed on our board is that Geelong had been in very close contact with JUH well before he was drafted, with dialogue having remained consistent since then.
How many times does when somebody gets asked what's their source? They come with oh a poster on our board whom is usually correct..lol
