Agree. Everyone can go to Twitter and AFL site to check out all this "official" trades that were actually done over the weekend.

they are already players in our best 22.
what if we get a couple of midfield injuries. that's depth. who comes in from the vfl to play midfield. miles could have easily but luckily didn't need him for mid cover. Lloyd did come in and played mainly when we wanted to rest someone form midfield. there is no straight swap, VFL mid to come in and play AFL mid.
possibly caddy and Edwards can move acorss, but to ask them to play 80% mid, when they usually play 40% mid (just round estimates) is a step up....

Mate, we had midfielder challenges this year in particular and Miles came in once. Like you said Lloyd didn’t play in the middle. It’s very unlikely that a VFL player walks into the seniors team midfield. Prime example Townsend came in dominating all year in the twos winning the Liston as a midfielder and comes in as a forward. Does well, kicks a bag and wins a flag but as a forward.

You work with your best 22 and have the depth play their roles. We may not have a strong VFL side next year but our depth will be solid.

Dees working with a back six of Lever, May, Jetta, Hibberd, O.McDonald, Frost with KK there as well...they're shaping up nicely. Not for us though.

Actually think May is best in the same role Lever plays, only thing is Lever does it way better.
Don’t rate May as a stopper at all, who knows might do better in a team that’s not shitful like the Suns.

Tend to agree with this. May can seriously play but at that shit truck it's easy for it to all fall apart. He frees up Lever, rolls Frost and O.McDonald down one KPF...they'll be top 2 challengers now.
