Did anyone else see that Israel said that now they have agreed to a ceasefire with Lebanon, they’re going to focus on Iran?

Iran has been threatening to strike Israel tbf, but Iran has a habit of making threats and not following through, similar to the US they tend to fight by proxy.

The Iranians have directly attacked Israel twice in the last year.

Immense escalation given the Israelis had attacked them and their allies for years without response.

Israel is fighting a horrific urban guerilla war without end in the ruins of Gaza.

They've just had their heads punched in over the last few months in southern Lebanon and are now retreating having burned a few villages and not much else

Six months ago they were marching to the Litani and staying.

The Israelis are far from done and Trump coming in certainly helps them tactically if not strategically.

But this is the worst condition the state of Israel has been in since its very early days, perhaps Suez.

Their economy is tanking, social unrest growing and there's no end in sight.

I mean the Houthis have imposed an economic blockade the US can't break.

I'm not sure they could survive what a third Iranian escalation might bring.

And then we'd see nukes flying for sure

I mean something big. The Iranian military tweeted (lol how ridiculous is that, but that’s the era we live in) this morning…

This is the kind of thing in a regular country that would see people taking to the streets in protest. Unfortunately, those sort of actions get people violently repressed in Russia.
