Review Round 4 vs Adelaide @ People First Stadium - Sat. 5 April @ 12:20pm

Murphy will struggle to find the ball. Had a decent 2023 as a defensive small forward tasked with keeping possession in the F50, but a shocking 2024; nobody's braver diving headfirst into contests but unfortunately, has modest ability and poor footy IQ - supporters realise our list has moved past him, but our coaching looks to be our weakest link in 2025.

That said, should be a great game, both teams playing great footy and well on track to make finals; and that means two less Victorian teams in September 😎

Interestingly, we can match our best ever start to a season with a win in this game and that was back in 2016 when we started the year with a 3-0 record. That came to an end in round 4 back in 2016 so that obviously means a win against the Crows would give us the opportunity to go 4-0 to start the season for the first time in our history when we play North in the Barossa next week. History awaits if we're good enough to grasp it. Adelaide are for sure the biggest challenge we'll face until we play the Lions in round 8 so I think it's critically important for us to win this weekend to prove our merit when it inevitably gets questioned by the media.

Expecting 15k crowd.

15k is a step in the right direction considering we've averaged crowds of 12k against the Crows up here in the past. We've played Vic teams in the past and pulled 15k when the makeup of the crowd was close to 50/50. So I'd say it's fair to assume 13-14 of the 15k crowd will be supporting the Suns on Saturday and that's the really important part as opposed to the 8-10k we would've pulled just a few years ago. If we can at least get 13k Suns supporters to every home game then we should never be outnumbered by opposition supporters (no matter who we play) and that will make a big difference with those important 50/50 umpire calls throughout the game. The more we win, the more locals will jump on the bandwagon and we'll start to have a massive home ground advantage over teams like the Crows and at least 50/50 support against big clubs like Collingwood. It's a massive part of our future to always get the majority support at our home ground.

Has anyone had trouble downloading the stupid mobile ticketing for today?.All I want out of the frigging membership pack is a membership card but obviously too hard.I get a lanyard though

My app is being stupid. Getting a “something went wrong” message.

Hopefully it’s resolved in two hours for when I need it…

Our two wins were against the 17th and 18th teams. Big opportunity to really make some noise.
Part of the reason they are 17th and 18th is because we belted them it doesn’t mean they are the 17th and 18th worst teams in the league, it’s too early in the season to call that
