Felt like our sheer skill was enough to win today. Overall effort was down a tad but credit to the Tigers for playing well.

Just didn’t see enough defensive efforts overall from everyone, sloppy out the back but clean going forward.

Was still a fun day, good weather, a bitta bruuceee & Washy with a GOTY right in front of us.

Its nice to have a relaxed coasting win after cyclone, heat and tropical storm rounds we have played so far. But that's not our level and next week everyone will be on notice.

Always glad to take the win but I can’t remember the last time we’ve missed so many marks in defence. Berry and Andrews dropped some absolute sitters.

Next two games will give us a decent test.

Really phoned in the second half it’s fair to say. And put the phone down entirely in the fourth quarter.

Fletcher was excellent as was Wilmot. A few guys got a bad game out of their system hopefully, at no great cost. We are missing Lohmann who allows Ah Chee to roam more widely. Would be good to get Starc back soon but health first.

It may be worth giving Henry a start soon.

You’ll never see a more textbook example of a superior team taking the foot of the pedal for an entire quarter.

How much of an issue that is is up for debate I guess.

Were going to be managing the impact of the lost bye and the West Coast climate atrocity for at least a month.

Non issue imo. 4-0, no injuries and the players aren't physically and mentally spent like they were the previous 3 games.

To put this in a running context, the last three weeks were race pace, this was a recovery run.

Now to recover well and set our sights on the Dogs.

What was up with Andrews today? Illness or injury?
Oscar missed last week through illness, which turned out to be gastro.

There has been a lot of it going around.

Might be confirmation bias but I thought Andrews actually looked pale like he wasn't feeling well.

In any case, he was brilliant the previous two weeks so I'm giving him a Mulligan for today

Take the 4 points but they are teasing us, still not quite sure where we are at, are we just saving the petrol tickets for the tough opponents coming up? Still 4-0 and second on the ladder is a damn good start.

We were at least eight goals better than them all day so it was disappointing to only win by 5. Thought Fletcher was great , and Hugh with his tackling as an added weapon in his game was very special. I wanted to step away from the obvious votes though and gave some kudos to Bruce, he had a couple of class moments and I thought went better for longer than previously.

Needed a soft game like that after the challenging first four weeks, including the cyclone. So I understand the players not pushing it today.

But equally, I am microwaving my membership.
These digital membership cards make it really expensive, I need to get a new phone and new microwave half a dozen times each season.

Before the season begins I print off 27 copies of my membership barcode and laminate them. Work smarter not harder

God damn Dan Merrett, not again ;)

We cruised to the win. Was it impressive well not really against a young side
But the young Tigers played well just as the Eagles did against us.
We will learn from the game just like when we backed up against the Cats after playing the Eagle's.

No injuries and i doubt anyone is suffering badly from a bruising encounter.

Play the Dogs at Norwood oval next week. At least it's not Ballarat.

McCluggage BOG again.
