Knevitt plantar fascia!? Oh man that kid can't catch a break

Not happy he doesn't need interruptions. On the other hand it probably means Clark gets a decent run for the next few weeks now.

Sounds like we are running out of healthy bodies

We have got enough. It will kill the vfl team depth wise but the majority of the injured guys are not best 22 anyway. We need a ruck and an elite mid but they are not on our list.

Disagreeing with the points by simply discussing football is fine. I do it all the time with Dubs - we rarely seem on the same page. But I agree that the personal "why are you like this" stuff isn't necessary. I'm not a fan of any posts that essentially say "hey there, be quiet". Robust debate on the other hand, as long as no one is getting genuinely upset- I hope we never lose that for the sake of "pleasantness".
Cheers Mr M
I could have worded that better , healthy , respectful debate is fine but getting personal and arguing for the sake of arguing is not warranted

Bloody love those ins!

Clark has tried hard but needs to get some more aerobic capacity. Stewy back for Knevitt is a no-brainer.

Mannagh in as another link-up forward half player is great too.

Lever not in is interesting. Melksham as sub is interesting too - though I suppose he can play both ends if need be.

I do wonder if Billings comes in for someone.

We’re getting really stretched with injuries and so many young players on the list. Shows that Knevitt is out injured and still and emergency, I assume they want Clark to play vfl which is a good move. But the lack of other options is an issue and will be worse if we get more injuries to any key players.
We’ve got two players who are best 22 who are unlikely to play again in TB and Guthrie. Other than Stanley and Duncan the rest of the vfl team are not options at the level this year.

Shame Clark has been dropped, would rather him in over O'Connor

MOC can run out a full game without getting gassed, and is big enough not to get pushed off the ball easily. Against Melbourne's big mids Clark would struggle big time.

Yes and no. Incredibly, for once, most of our injuries and players missing, are to players who wouldn't be in our Best 26 anyway.

KMF
Hofmann
Bews
Burke
Ivisic
Molier
Conway
M. Edwards

Only:

J. Martin (was not in our Best 26 yet anyway and was always a later in the year proposition)
Bruhn (we've known for a while he's likely not a consideration anymore)
C. Guthrie (ditto Bruhn, but for wildly different reasons)
Kolo - the only one we actually want back, and should be back next week or the week after
Knevitt - extremely short term, and might need a run in the VFL anyway

It's actually extremely fortunate that most of our injuries are concentrated to guys who wouldn't be in our side anyway. We do have a lot of injuries, just not to anyone of importance, now that Neale is cleared and Mannagh and Stewart are back.

Also, Wiltshire should play games this year. Definitely has the talent, just needs to string a half a dozen good games together, and wait for an injury. Already emergency last week. Retschko another one that looks AFL ready, and has a tank as big as Miers and Blics. Also improved his kicking too.

On another note...bloody hell, what voodoo curse did the draftees from last year dig up? 5 out of 8 of them injured and not playing, crazy bad luck.
