Clark has proven to be too good for VFL so we should persist with him in the senior side.
Clohesy has had a taste of senior footy and has showed good signs - would be happy for him to return to the VFL for a week or two to fine tune some aspects of his game, stay hungry and then return with vigor and refinement.
Blicavs seems to relish playing on Adelaide Oval and competes well with O'Brien - perhaps we consider bringing Stanley in this week to keep Blicavs less banged up for the short turnaround into GR.
Mannagh to ideally come in and add a legitimate clearance and defensive option around the stoppages and goal scorer.
I'm really not sure how we can better utilise O'Connor - feel like he's teetering on the fringe of selection at the moment and could even drop back to substitute this week while Knevitt comes in for a full game on the familiar home track.
(It has already been mentioned previously by many of the Cats brethren that we have some significantly underperforming forwards (who don't need to be named) - hopefully they rediscover some hunger, urgency and sustained contribution this week).
Think have to continue on with Clarke that's clear
As is Neale if fit

Might only be a few tweaks away from correcting things

Simply a must win v Dees

As in talking about trains or attitude to team?

Re the team, it's clearly we are in transition in a time not unlike 2014/15. Our midfield is quite inexperienced and can easily get picked apart.
Most fans appreciate this I would have thought.
Nah it was the specific person to person hostility over basically nothing.

Will be interesting to see what direction we go if Neale doesn't come up.

Mannagh will come in... but isn't a tall.

Does Stanley come in and maybe we try SDK forward (CS has mentioned it in the preseason).

We have no tall forward that could come in... actually we don't have a pure tall forward at all coming through.

I guess what I'll be looking for is if we just go Mannagh for Neale and play shorter or do we rejig the lineup and move someone else forward.

I personally don't like it but I think Duncan could be a good inclusion as we need a bit of experience in the line up at the moment.
Weird thing to say as it feels like we've been one of the oldest teams for a decade or more. Certainly no longer the case as half our side was under 24 years of age on the weekend.
There's definitely a mindset switch which is taking time to sink in

How good has Dangerfield been at the back-end of his career?
He's gone past Martin, Ablett jnr, Franklin and others in terms of obtaining that high impact on a game. Still has every ounce of his early athletic prowess.
Just wish he could convert those set shots inside fifty.

Been arguably one of the great signing's in Geelong football club history.
At their absolute peaks, you couldn't split Danger, Fyfe and Martin.

Danger's longevity is great, but he's not playing betterr than he ever has.

Ablett Jnr. sits without peer in 21st century, a rung above all other superstars.

Agreed. A game at GMHBA, against a fairly slow Demons outfit, after both sides were run ragged last week - I see that as a good environment for Duncan to slot in.

You're right that we are oddly in the unique position of lacking veteran experience.

too nervous about the game, easy to think about trains
Are we really nervous about the game? We have been close in our first three games, we look great when we get it right, we look ordinary when we aren’t getting it right.

We should rip Melbourne apart if we show up and put in 4 qtrs, changes to the line up shouldn’t have a massive impact, 3 games in we just need to now start putting it together for 4 qtrs.

And I think we will :)
Quite excited for the game!

For the life of me I cannot understand why they got rid of public parking.

I never parked within the grounds, but are they doing any works or upgrades to facilities which limits parking options?

Last match they said they're kept the disability parking options, but no idea

Nope, they stopped letting people in to park when they were building the new stand so they could keep the equipment there.

When the stand was finished they just never reinstated public parking, no reason ever given.
