I don’t buy that, Jack Martin is what he had been his whole career. Extremely flighty, unfit, injury prone and goes missing the majority of the time.
Luckily we didn’t give up any picks for him - just a bucket load of underserved cash.

Give him some time to rest up, come back through the VFL and gain some match fitness and then we’ll start to get the best out of him. Until then it’ll be the same story.

List wise some tough decisions need to be made. I don’t feel all is lost with the rebuild in that sense. Some vigour and intensity and some hardness to play the game for four quarters is what is missing and not 15-30 min purple patches that we’ve seen for most of this season. Whether that’s down to the mentality of our group or not, I have no idea. There is large responsibility to be placed on the group with what is happening.

But the coaching cohort at the moment give me no confidence. With everything we’ve copped the last 2 weeks, to lose by your biggest margin of the year is quite telling. I expected us as a collective to be galvanised by it. We weren’t. Tonight was dreadful. Im so disappointed. Sacking coaches consistently isn’t the way to go but in this current context and for the lifehood of the club; Teague has 9 games to show something in his arsenal and that he deserves to be at the helm. Or he needs to go.

With the amount of effort sides are having to put into defending him, it's criminal that Owies seems to be the only forward who can ever find space for an easy hit-up.

Is it our forward craft, or is it that our mids don't read the play well enough to look for something other than the tallest bloke out there?

His movement looks fine, it’s his lack of fitness that’s causing his grimacing.

Agree though - Honey needs to come in ASAP. We are lacking intensity big time.

Really? To me he is moving slow. At his best he bounces around the contest and has shown a willingness to jump at the ball. Doing none of that.
