Those small number of dems aren't representative of the party in general, tho there are higher numbers voting against various arms bills. Honestly thats a good thing. Normally I don't take this much notice of US politics.

Some of us have a slim hope that this new administration will take control away from the campaigners that really run the US. Probably naive but anything is better than what US foreign policy has been for the last 150 years.

You have nothing to base this on. Trump will give Israel free rein. When Biden tried to pause arms transfers, the republicans in congress overrode him.

The only push back to genocide from elected reps in the US is coming from the dems. That massie just wants the us to stop funding it. He couldn’t give a **** about the actual genocide.

And as per usual, a member of the “they’re all the same” clique has picked a side. Every single time. It’s like a scientific law at this point.

That said, it’s funny watching two posters call others “idiot”, “muppet”, question whether those other posters have got a mental deficiency and just generally look down their nose at other posters for having a difference of opinion (in the exact same way the American political party that they cheer for does) and then claim that others abuse them.

I have never watched or listened to the Tucker interview. My opinion is based on listening to him on other podcasts, the one he does on his own and the one he does with Jocko.

I'm still reading the transcript.

He says stuff like this:

He's describing America as the result of a centuries long race war. He doesn't use the term genocide but he doesn't shy away from the racism inherent in the creation of the modern US.

The bit everyone is up in arms about is interesting - he seems to be referring to everyone the Nazis murdered, not just their Jewish victims.

Still less than halfway thru it.

The transcript covers the whole show. It has some extremely funny bits in it (ie the ads) ... like when they advertise phones that Erik Prince is building to protect people from big tech surveillance.
