The Australian government thinks we should defend Ukraine, and an Australian man decides to go over and help. It's not an unhinged thought process.

Lots of international soldiers stepped up for the Spanish civil war. I'm not surprised there are heaps in Ukraine.

He went to Ukraine to fight in a war that has nothing to do with him. He can barely speak Russian or Ukrainian.

He’s a full on dork that clearly doesn’t belong on a battlefield.

I’m not dismissing it, but I’m yet to see a single bit of concrete evidence of North Koreans fighting for Russia. If there is even close to the number attributed by that article, there’d be at least one POW or at minimum footage of them.

Russia is one of the ethnically diverse countries in the world, and there is a large portion that look Asian.

I’m not Squamish or sensitive, but obviously some things can disturb me. Like when a video came up on my feed today of cats eating a fresh corpse in Gaza after Israel bombed another hospital and refugee camp. I literally almost threw up.

I don’t think the link you gave sent me to what you’re referring to..maybe because I don’t have an active reddit account? The link showed people running away from drones just before they were killed, but no concrete evidence of North Koreans.

It starts out with being picked on at school.....then innocent curiosity like veganism, flat earth, scientology and then next thing you know this person has joined Al Qaeda or in this case joined a war that has nothing to do with him.

I've seen the videos....that guy's long gone down the rabbit hole.
