Just quietly, there's 7 x South Australians in that squad. Plus Carey and Head playing in the test.
And Liam Scott was 18yo when he moved here.
Some "fringe types" among them admittedly but we've had XIs with as few as 2 or 3 South Aussies. Small progress.

All jokes aside, I'm genuinely more interested in the shield than Aussie cricket.
Personally I'd gladly take SA winning the shield over the Aussies winning the Ashes in England any day of the week.
