I personally dont think there is a lot wrong with this trade provided Matt W becomes a good player

F1 was never going to get a pick inside #15 and #23 +F2 is a good deal for both teams in this draft
But i would be thinking that if North had offered #2 +F1 for #6 + #20 in trade week this might have been done

For Richmond we will finish last and have #1 and if by luck the North F1 is a top 5 pick then thats a great result for Richmond and enables us to get 2 more top rated mids like Sharp & Rodriguez to add to Lalor , Hotton , Smillie

Everything you say sounds pretty right the only problem i think would have been if we offered no2 and future 1st we would not have got FOS who we really wanted regardless of all the rumors about us wanting Tauru.

No, it’s not semantics to suggest it likely won’t be pick 19.

I’m supportive of the trade, but there’s no need to avoid telling the truth when trying to support it.

Yes you are right it won't be pick 19 on paper but it still will be the 19 best player on paper available to all clubs besides all the academy etc.

We won’t hear dick out of the TigTokers…….other than “yeah but you got priority picks” or some garbage. Could care less, we had to do something this next couple of years. Been torturous.
Hated the trade at the time, kinda get it now. We will see

Maybe not. Priority picks, free agency compensation can push it back.

And whilst I think they’re just about certainties, it’s not impossible Richmond don’t finish last.

Point being, there’s a lot to play out. We’re not yet at the stage we can be certain of anything regarding that future pick.
