The Blues have the core of a good team but their worst 6 players let them down every week with poor disposal overall and lack of effort or fitness when the heat is on.

Voss will cop the brunt and might be on life support if they get rolled next week. Whether it's his doing or not they have too many very overpaid players and not enough solid footsoldiers who just get their job done.

It’s an overrated list, especially by the media and that puts so much more heat on Voss.

If we had a free hit at Carlton’s list for trades, who would we take?
Curnow, TDK, Cripps, McKay, Weitering are obvious and would make our first 23. I like Jack Silvagni as well. I don’t know who would come out for him though.
None of their small forwards are as good as ours, Saad isn’t at the level of Kiddy Coleman or Zorko, I’m not swapping any of their mids for ours. I know we have a great list but the media and a lot of their fans act like their list is close to the level of ours.

Holy shit is anyone else listening to SEN? This baggers supporter has been yelling into his phone for 10min while Finey laughs at him in the background. I'm genuinely cackling.

What sort of sick, twisted person listens to late night SEN. For shame!

Many of their supporters are unhinged.

I do miss Final Siren. Used to be the best listening late night end of the round

The best times are following a loss from Carlton or a bad loss from the croms. Their fans are hilariously unhinged.

It’s a shame. I feel like Voss should be a good coach but for whatever reasons, at two clubs now it just hasn’t really worked and I dare say this will be his head coaching career done now sadly if the my lose any more any time soon.

carlton head coach role is a poison chalice. voss knew what he was signing up for.

I found it on digital radio. Mario in North Carlton wants Voss sacked tomorrow and all of the coaches are clowns! Now talking about 1978!

Another caller wanted to replace Voss with Ken Hinkley.

That caller also wanted Carlton members to organise and protest at some racecourse.

Inject all of this straight into my veins.

After listening to Vossy’s press conference, it’s clear that while his leadership is undeniable, he’s never been the most polished speaker. At times, he comes across as repetitive and tends to make simple answers sound more complicated with the use of filler words. I can sympathize with how exhausting it must be speaking to the media after another loss, but I’m curious how his communication style resonates with the players and whether it helps them move forward from their current position.

Part of the problem is they continue to lose in the exact same ways, exact same mistakes, exact same lack of composure etc. So he is trying to say the same thing each week a different way, in essence. I defended Vossy for a bit, but he unfortunately must not be much of a coach. Feel like some of their core weaknesses have been weaknesses for years and look no more improved.

It doesn't help that they've left Weitering to solo their backline and only helped him out last offseason by recruiting checks notes 32 year old Nick Haynes.

I think Payne is a better backman than Weitering, so he’d not be on my list of salvageables.

Carlton board up to 7 pages already.
Mostly rubbishing individuals, the team and Voss.
A few saying Lions were 0-3 last year
Not sure it's correct but one poster said "and Hawks have our first rounder"
Hawthorn hold Carlton's first and second round picks.

West Coast holds Hawthorn's first, second and third round picks.

Carlton holds our second round pick.

Third round we hold West Coast's, Essendon's, Gold Coast's and the Bulldog's picks, but not our own.

I want to hear from all the media idiots who trumpeted this is some great strategy to move to the top 3 of the draft to get Jagga Smith.

That was a lot of investment on one pick and bloody hell it's blowing up badly trade wise, not to mention that poor guys ACL.
