A few Clubs have pointier ends to their lists

Problem with, as you've outlined, is injuries to your better players / key structural players, exposes your list ....this was a key component of our 2024 season as well

Marshall, Dixon, and Houston .....with ???on Butters

Depends how you define depth but I think its sometimes overated in the AFL. Hard to win a flag using players outside your best say 26. Outside of that it maybe helps with rotations and resting the odd players.

A key position and ruck backup important but I am less worried about small defender or forwards.

Your lad Ollie Hannaford sounds like he disagrees with Mick?

He talks about the stigma of toxic masculinity, especially at all boys schools.

Actually sounds like a ripping lad, raising money for charity.

Bicks it’s one thing quoting the masses from well regarded papers like NYT’s and other global publications, the old Fairfax stable inc The Age and SMH, AFR and even Murdochs own The Australian.

But cmon seriously The Hun, The Tiser and Daily Telegraph are as dumbed down as any papers we have ever seen in this country. Hardly catering to the AB demographic are they?

So anyone that doesn't agree with the way you see it must be dumb, yeah OK I forgiot you consider yourself more intelligent than the average Joe.

'Persons bothering to read and comment on HS opinion piece agree with author' incredible insight.

I suppose we've seen a drop in AFL revenue and other metrics that can be correlated with this?
The comments in these sections of articles are normally light hearted piss takes of the situation. Nothing anyone would seriously consider as “evidence”

Haha, ok. If that’s how you read it. I am pointing out you are quoting tabloid papers that aren’t to be taken seriously. Half way to becoming The Sun or Daily Express which are pure comedy value only

Are you serious?

“Being an all-boys school, I think it was very significant for our school to show that we are respectful young men, and we were trying to get rid of the stigma of toxic masculinity.”

He literally is quoted in the article, ffs

No, are you serious, there was no mention of toxic masculinity in the article's excerpt I posted let alone the whole article,

You're off on another tangent not mentioned in the whole article.

Oh god, that article is terribly written

He has a very good point re: the AFL’s hypocrisy on social issues, but he can do that without coming across as offended and using populist terms like ‘wokeism’ and ‘radical left’
The Sun wouldn't publish it though

Actually I agree with the points on gambling $. But I quite like pride round. I think most people would support it.

Your comprehension needs some work.
Nowhere in the Warner article was toxic masculinity mentioned, that's purely your invention.

The article you posted I read weeks ago, good on Ollie he's a fine young man. Or a similar article posted by his school St.Pats. It's old news.
