Can't find an article stating it, but Richmond got a pick at the end of the second round as compo. What coin is he on?
Chol was unrestricted free agent, no trade (as he was delisted and re-drafted as rookie by Tigers). I also remember rumour around $400K.Can't find an article stating it, but Richmond got a pick at the end of the second round as compo.
I'm sure I've seen it quoted in the $400-450k range, but can't find confirmation.
Thought he was on big coin. But that's not bad for his 2022 seasons output. I would love him on Collingwoods list on that coin. You guys need some points for academy picks. I'm sure that you could get a solid deal for him. Can't find an article stating it, but Richmond got a pick at the end of the second round as compo.

From 8.10Who said that Suns are shopping Chol? All Cal said that he could be a trade option for clubs seeking KPF due to limited market and lack of opportunity. I have little doubt clubs are interested but so far I did not hear that Chol wants to leave or Suns are shopping him.
Not sure how much value a player that's behind Casboult could possibly haveChol has been raised as a strong trade possibility by Twomey twice over the past day (on Gettable and SEN).
A KPF/ruck hybrid would have to be one of the more sought after positional needs this off-season.
Only 26 years old, so still young enough to attract a long term offer.
He'll be behind King, Walter, Lukosius, and Casboult next year, so negligible chance of our getting an extended run at it in the seniors for the foreseeable future.
Besides, he's already been traded out of a Hardwick team once already.
On the flipside, the Suns' draft hand is already loaded with picks. So, what gets it done?
Doesn’t sound like the club feels the same wayCasboult is almost done, and Walter is a first year player. Chol is definitely needed. Would take overs for the Suns to let him go.
He was excellent last year filling in for King.
Tough, but fair. He's had a long time, the talent is there but lacks the consistency to lock down a position.Chol definite talent YES
Unfit YES
Lazy YES
In the system 8 years can he change his attitude , Maybe but doubtful.
I'd have him as Comben insurance for a third rounder. Was a crazy contract offer from the suns. Chol is super talented but has a poor work rate and non-competitive often. He's an icing on top type player. 3rd tall/2nd ruck option. If any club takes him expecting him to be a 1st or 2nd banana in the forward line they're making a mistake.
I don't think he's moving to be insurance somewhere else. He'd only leave for gametime.I'd have him as Comben insurance for a third rounder.
But he’s currently under contract. And presumably GC would like someone to stump up the cash for their liabilities. If he was previously delisted at Richmond, doesn't that make him a FA for life?
Meaning any club could pick him up for free, if they wanted.
I reckon if anyone wants him he'll be pretty much free. They'd just be keen to get the salary off their books. But he’s currently under contract. And presumably GC would like someone to stump up the cash for their liabilities.
With Craig Cameron at the Suns who knows you might get him back plus pick fourI reckon if anyone wants him he'll be pretty much free. They'd just be keen to get the salary off their books.
I don't know how Cameron even got the job. Was terrible back when he was with us.With Craig Cameron at the Suns who knows you might get him back plus pick four
The coaches seemed to have valued Casboult's ability to compete in the air and contest, something Chol doesn't do a lot of.Kicked 44 goals last year so obviously talented. Many of the regular forwards in the comp have done considerably worse. I'm a fan of Casboult but strange that the Suns continued to play him and King in front of Chol. Assume coaches don't like his defensive stuff.
