The moment I saw him play his first game for us against Brisbane you could tell he was a born captain. The type of player who can carry the weight of the team on his back. Rozee is a nice player, but he ain't that.

He would be our best CHF, FF, Centreman, Half Back Flank and probably our best on the last line if need be… he has the mongrel to compete. The whole list ‘lacks’ this severely, it’s why DBJ, SPP, Mead, Burgoyne and Drew are persisted with. To many nice guys at Port…

Nothing, they are persisted with cause they show some spine, spirit and valour.

There were people on here calling for him to be ousted because he was/is to small/lean.

JHF does give the outward appearance he might be a good captain. The big question is could he carry that very heavy weight without it affecting his own game and development to become one of the best and most influential players in the competition. I'd be more inclined to let him concentrate on his own game at this stage than worrying about dragging a number of soft half committed players the list seems to have across the line every week.

I think JHF is the kind of guy who would be motivated to do honour to the position.

He just needs a strong coach and admin who remind him that the way to do that is ON field.

no one was very good apart from jase burgoyne.

JHf played well, nothing to ride home about though.
