They haven't with Pendles and Noble who are good at drawing frees. I'm not as good a sport as you,. I'm happy if he draws the frees, but think the umps will stop paying them and in the long run think he's better off trying to get his arms free.

The beauty of Selwoods technique is that he pushes the blokes arm up and often gets his arm free or breaks the tackle, as well as there being high contact frees. Personally I think in the early days it was more about getting free and using the footy, rather than playing for a free.

Second time Selwood has been very lucky to avoid suspension that others would miss time for.

This is the Buddy one. Much more obvious intent, and an elbow to the side of the temple is about as dangerous as it gets.
