Honestly think Stef will easily play until he's 34/35, one of the more durable rucks in the comp and was drafted as a mature ager so should have a greater longevity than most other Ruckman.

I'm liking the look of Jeremy Sharp in this draft... Looks like he has okay wheels, marks overhead, flashy, gut runner, good kick. Not sure where he goes in this draft, but he looks a good fit with Brownless and Scott; would add a lot of two way running in the team.

He is next years crop. Certainly looks to have a lot of AFL quality traits. Just needs to work on his disposal but certainly an exciting prospect. His running power up and down the ground is sensational and one of the most important qualities in today's game.

He won't be a super star, but he will be a solid soldier. I like the way he plays, get's to the ball at full pace, and is a quick thinker when in the contest.

Any forward that can mark overhead, chase and tackle we should go for.. GWS might demand our r1 pick, but he would be worth it IMO.

Doubt we could get him, he looked good this season when he played, takes a big grab and with Wingard seemingly on the way out there will be a spot there in the forward line, have to remember he is only 19 so has plenty of years to have an impact at Port.

People were much smaller 50 years ago due to poorer health. Nicholls was even smaller. Not really comparable though.

Does Robert Scott have any bad blood against the Cat for trading him? Wonder if that would work against us.

I have a sneaking feeling Suns and NM are leading us... stay home, or breaking into an easier midfield.

The year after Scott was traded, I was in a bar after a Geelong/North game in Melbourne. Most of the Geelong team was there (Billy, Barnsey, Simpson etc) having a jolly old time. It was interesting to note that Robert Scott was there with the Cats boys, rather than with his own team.
I only mention it because it didn't seem like something someone with a grudge against their old club would do.
