"monster ban" = 3 weeks now according to media. to me, a monster ban would be 6 weeks plus.

Got to be the least surprising turn of events in recent years. Surely the afl can’t keep protecting him, now…
Will the AFL look at North’s response to the previous allegations? It may possibly be that it was somewhat inadequate

I still have little faith in him getting the correct sanctioning. The AFL seem to be a protected species.

Heard this. Wants all premiership players to also be eligible. Can we retroactively apply this to get Noah Anderson and Ed Allen?
The idea has some merit.... Ultimately the rule is in place to maintain strong family ties to a club which can be forged via premiership wins, but not always so it's a no from me. The less draft tampering the better.
WCE would have access to W. Rioli kids - and possibly not Port (TBC) but he's hardly going to drape his kids in WCE gear.

It actually makes sense.
It's ridiculous that all clubs care for is Premierships and once you win one you're part of the clubs history forever, but you have to play 100 games for your kid to follow in your footsteps.
While some player who never amounted to much at all, who plays 100 games at a club that achieves nothing, has their kid able to walk into the AFL club of their choice.
