Feel like City are going to give us an old fashioned slapping.
Pretty intriguing match up really.

I thought we were lucky to catch you at the start of the season before you started to gel.

Both sides have plenty of quality, but both in a bit of a rut.

Couldn't call it one way or the other. But an old fashioned slapping would be quite nice.

We've got to be putting Ipswich away at home if we're serious about finishing off the season and winning the title.

I'd hope for key players getting a rest in the CL midweek as we're through already however in the past this hasn't happened as FSG is desperate for the prize money from CL group stage wins (2m a win).

You honestly think the owners dictate what team the manager picks for any given game?

I believe they will be telling whoever is manager that they would like the 2m in prize money for the win.

We've seen it before where our players copped injuries playing in dead rubbers.

I think every club bar Man City and Newcastle would be providing financial advice to the playing and coaching staff, yes.

We lost Jota for a few months in a dead CL rubber a few years back. Had played key players like Fabinho and Salah in CL dead rubbers before that as well.

And no matter how much people like to make out they're hamstrung by their owners and their poor downtrodden team is achieving against the odds there aren't too many clubs that would tell the manager who to play and who not to play.

Nah you’ll be right, they only slap the shit teams, probably be a draw
Fake news, we haven't given you a good slapping for years and you're about as shit as it gets atm.

So when the club management aren’t telling the manager that for every $1M extra in revenue, there’s a $150k (wild guess) increase to the transfer kitty and/or wages budget?

So the more money we get, the more money you have? That’s not telling them who to play, but pressure nonetheless.

Unless you work at the ATMUtd. There’s no money there.

That doesn't happen in the real world. Playing full strength generally happens because the manager wants it to happen.

That’s because its a DERBY and form goes out the window in them, shows how shit your club has been this season
