To be fair 1OUT1BACK, the reason DP seems to be targeted is because, maybe not you, but others came in all guns blazing both in the DIV 1 and Premier Divisions, saying how good you guys are and come look at our trophy cabinet.

So unfortunately the attention you guys are getting on here is by your own making.

If deer park didn't spruik how well they'd go, the result would still raised some eyebrows, but most people would think its keilor doing keilor things

It’s just BF banter boys. Deer Park will bounce back I would assume and probably unlucky to get them first up after all the publicity on keilor.

For all the comments regarding how to even up competition ( especially Premier League ) There is only one way to do this. It is the points system. Every team should not be on 46 points.
If you win the flag, that team the next year should be 42 at a min and then if they win it again come into 38 points and if they win again, come into 32 points As an example Keilor win the flag last year and on Saturday play with 45 points out of 46. This is ridiculous! If they do not make top 2, they can gain an extra point back each year
Then on the flip side the team coming from B Grade should get at least 50 points. and the second bottom gets 2 points extra and be 48. The runner up in GF should lose 2 points for the following year and play on 44.
We all know Keilor and a few other clubs here are cheating the salary cap, but if the points system was something like the above, that is the only way you can even up this competition, and not make it a joke of a competition between 2 or maybe 3 clubs
Along with capping how many junior sides these powerful clubs have, and also be stricter with having some sort of points system when juniors are swapping from under 14s and up to 18s, so these clubs can't poach the good kids, plus do zones where children live also.
Until the league grow some balls and have someone in charge who is not going to be influenced by the powerful clubs this Premier League will be a joke and uneven!

Also For the league to not strip Keilor of at least 4 points for cheating is an absolute joke, plus they should have had say -8 premiership points on top of this to start the season !

Great post and I would have given senior coach 2-4 weeks suspension to highlight the fact this is unacceptable and I’m sure it would have sent the message out to ALL other clubs. Senior coaches know exactly what’s going on and especially with Mick as his over everything Keilor and basically runs the football department.

Just another sh1t comp they could bully after their failed attempts in the EDFL

Whatever your opinion of the RDFL (for what it’s worth), they still don’t deserve to be lumbered with the likes of Deer Park.

Still waiting for clarity on teams followed by you BF faithful. Let's see who can be honest and share their teams for all to see. Or maybe this is too hard incase scrutiny in the following weeks comes back to bite. Surely this cant be too hard as you would've penciled in a win against the Lions for sure. I bet it's met with silence though.....prove us DP faithful wrong!! C'mon who's 1st up.

Is this a piss take? If they rolled that team out against Keilor, they would get flogged by 15 goals. At the moment they are a 3-6 team. But they will recruit. Is Mark Galea a Deer Park junior?

Been a few personal changes there from the side that played Saturday knackers. Go and see how many infact, seen you have the time to go digging that far. Obviously a busy day at work today!!!! What a rediculous correlation from Saturday's poor performance and personal differences to the statement of 2023.

I'll even help you out, for starters players missing:

Worse team now then when they won the B Grade flag apparently, might have to sack the recruitment manager!! I bet the wage budget hasn't decreased...

Question- Why hasn’t the salary cap gone up as Covid was ages ago when it was severely reduced??

Totally agree, regarding coach, they should also be held accountable... and the people within the club who are responsible for salary cap should also be banned from going to the club on match days for a certain period also ! This rubbish needs to be sorted out !

agree the salary cap should be more, but don't know how much more, but like a said in previous post, the points system is how the comp can be evened up easily ( you cannot govern the salary cap properly, and this will keep happening )

It's not that hard !

Why should it be more? It's not sustainable for clubs to raise 200k for 6 months, the costs get pushed onto juniors, volunteers have to work harder and longer to raise the funds. A real head in the sand moment here guys, the cost of living is rising and to pay more for 22 amateurs to run around on Saturday, we'll bump it up for everyone else.

Not sure how you can stop people entering a ground and more so with no fencing. Some of these people are volunteers but coaches are well paid and he would have knew exactly what was going on. Should have got weeks as coach..

No they didn’t. There were only a handful of clubs who could afford it in a sustainable way (ie year after year). The rest either didn’t spend it, or stretched themselves beyond what was sustainable to get there for a year or two before falling off again as the money dried up or the people got burnt out.
