Nah. He's developed nicely in their grade system. He was excellent against Victoria, won them the game. Has developed more control, his leg spinner is a lot more dangerous than it previously was, which in turn makes his googly (which was already threatening) much more dangerous too. He's not the finished product but you can see how he'll get there.Oh no I've watched him I just look beyond stat's. As I said spud.
As someone who moved over from SL to Aus 20 years ago more and more Aussies seem to know more about Sri Lanka and more and more have visited sri lanka. when I went back in late 2022 post economic and tourist numbers being really low, I came across more Aussie tourists there than I did in the 2000’s.The more accessible options (Bali, Singapore, Thailand, etc) makes it difficult to justify going there for many, particularly families. It’s not really somewhere you “pass through” either. The old marketing on Channel 9, even led by Tony who loved the place was just a few plane shots. SL tourism could do a lot worse than tap into the Australian market using cricket as a vehicle. I’d be more than happy for the government and even Fox to subsidise some of the advertising cost, just an incredible place. If there was some resultant demand for it I’ve always thought a flight Perth to Colombo then onto Maldives would be commercially viable.
This is a first
Yeah, they're the ones on FTA. Last 48 years.I’m confused but haven’t the show all the away ashes on there for the last 20 years?
I have zero memory of Nine showing highlights of Pakistan tour when Tubby scored 334*, I was watching on Fox anyway.

let's see how ch7 manage the clash between Sri Lanka and Women's Ashes Test...
This is a first
Unpopular opinion but think the woman's ashes would garner more interest than some shit can test in Sri LankaThat's what the tweet says
We get The Ashes on FTA, had a couple of tours to SA & WI on FTA, but this is a first for a tour to Asia
Not part of the official squad, but happy to see at least one youngster touring with the team for experience
Yeah, no amount of Mickey Mouse T20 comps will prepare you for long stints in the field.that's good, but was hoping he might get a few games in the Shield.
I was more referring to this part "he will also be sent to Sri Lanka with the Test squad next week to gain experience in those conditions alongside Aussie stars", rather than the T20 debut.Yeah, no amount of Mickey Mouse T20 comps will prepare you for long stints in the field.
If you get a big turner, the extra batter would be handy and when you've already got two spinners the third often becomes one of the change up bowlers. One of the NZ quicks did well in the first innings, and with Webster (mediums) and Head plus 2 spinners we should be alright. Annoying that we don’t have a left armed if Kuhnemann is out, so I understand Connolly maybe, but I worry his bowling isn’t ready, and whilst he’s looked good with the bat I’m not sure he’s ready for tests on that front either. With Rocc I reckon we know what we’re getting more.
Mate says it fine. They were rolling the pitch while he was there but he’s side on. Couldn’t get around to head on.How is the weather in Galle? I heard its wet and stormy right now. I hope it clears by the time the matches starts.
Huh, interesting. Galle is like Darwin in that there isn't the four seasons, just the two seasons, wet and dry and currently its on the wet/humid part of the year.Mate says it fine. They were rolling the pitch while he was there but he’s side on. Couldn’t get around to head on.
Yes mate, I know how it works I, too, live in the tropics.Huh, interesting. Galle is like Darwin in that there isn't the four seasons, just the two seasons, wet and dry and currently its on the wet/humid part of the year.
Even though its not raining its very humid. I suppose all the cities populating near the equator would be.
