Cox is the obvious replacement and we return to two rucks with resting ruck going forward. I’m not too concerned if we have a patch with Cox.

don't think it would matter either way i think his body just isn't up to playing huge chunks of AFL level footy

Wasn’t being serious. Agree that his body just isn’t holding up for him unfortunately. Just want to try and minimise the impact on him

i think if he gets injured in 2026 long-term we pay him out he's on decent coin and just can't stay on the park long enough he's not Kreugs level bad but just when he hits some form gets a long term injury Dan would be just as devastated and annoyed as we are

He didn’t do much today even before getting injured and we did ok

The injury has nothing to do with his ruck work. It was just bad luck in a contest up forward. Lets not just to conclusions. It happens.
If we want to play Mcstay. Mihocek. Membrey, He has to ruck. No ways about it.

Injury to Dan McStay shows why it was such a brilliant decision for us to grab Tim Memery.

Cox can come in as the obvious replacement while Dan is absent, and this is a structure with which we are extremely familiar.

It is wonderful news that Dan will be able to return in the medium term.

Tim was great tonight. Loved his contest in the F50 and mobility, as well as that amazing set shot strike.
