Changes should be minimal, JOM in to play on a wing, Aish replacing Worner in starting 22, Fye as sub would just about do it for me.
Doubt Young comes in off zero game time in WAFL, could be wrong, if he does then maybe Banners is the one to miss.
JOM > Sharp
Aish > Worner
Fyfe Sub

Can't believe I'm excited to have Jaeger back in. I have been keen to see the back of him in the squad the past few seasons but he was in great form Rd 1 and 2. Send him straight in to do a job on Libba I reckon.

I think everyone has been harsh on Freddy. He doesn't find a lot of the ball but he's always useful. Some great marks which out other non talls wouldn't have taken, a nice long goal as well.

Duffield reported that Fyfe played half a wafl game two weeks ago and 3 quarters of a game last week. So he hasn't even managed to finish a full game yet. Not interested at all in Fyfe in the team until he is ripping apart WAFL never mind not even playing full games. I don't rate Erasmus at all, however I would rather the minutes went to Erasmus than Fyfe until Fyfe is BOG multiple weeks in a row for Peel.

In: Young, Jaeger, Wagner (hopefully), Darcy (hopefully)

Out: Worner, Sharp, Erasmus (if Wagner fit), Voss (if Darcy fit)

Fyfe played a full game on Saturday.

This is a critical game for us.

If we get the win we have the tigers and dees the next two weeks, and would be odds on to be 4-2 going into a home game against the crows, who look good.

Round 9 through to the bye is looking like a tough stretch.

Out: Sharp, Worner, Banfield
In: Young, JOM, Fyfe (to sub)
Keep Aish in and play him as a winger instead of Sharp.

I think Sharp is cooked with JOM back. I'd even play Banners there over him at the moment, he's completely devoid of confidence and in a contract year, that's a bad spot to be.

Please make the backline smaller, its not going to work but you know they'll stick with it. Wagner should come in. Maybe Chapman to the wing?

Stick Young on one of the wings for all I care, if he's ready to go, he plays.

I have no idea what they di with Fyfe, Ras and Johnson sont deserve to be dropped IMO.

What about Wagner on a wing.

I don't have him coming in.

JOM should come back in before him. Young is not too far away from coming back.

I personally wouldn't drop Erasmus or Johnson to bring him in. I don't mind the idea of him having 3 or 4 good weeks in the WAFL.

Agree re Erasmus and Johnson - Johnson seems a lock, but we need another decent big body mid and Ras needs weeks in the team playing full games.

He was far better with the pace of the game this week than what he showed last year, because he played 2 full games in a row.

His kicking was ok and he had some very good handballs and body work.

I don’t want to see him inside 50 because his goal kicking isn’t good, but as the workhorse who gets back to help win ground ball in defensive 50 and cover off transition he is a good option.

Raz ain’t going anywhere 19 touches at 83% effieciency he played his part and earnt his spot

It's not about how many touches he gets it what he does with it. I can't remember a single memorable disposal, I do remember him handballing to the ground and not even looking like scoring with his shot.

Ras potentially holds his place atm but only because Sturt, switta and walters are all likely still out.

Ras was an important link up player and his footy iq was starting to show. He’s great in tight spaces with handball.

We need to find a way to keep him in the side.

He was very very good. Created a spilled ball many times by taking possession and having two Eagles hanging off him, allowing the rest of the midfield to flourish.

It also appeared like the umpires ignored his back, in the back non-existent against him. I thought twice he could have received an in the back free kick when he took the ball and they dived on him.

I think we see:

Out: Worner (22 y.o, 10 games), Aish (29 y.o, 184 games), Sharp (23 y.o, 49 games), Erasmus (21 y.o, 25 games)

In: Wagner (42 games, 28 y.o), O'Meara(188 games, 31 y.o), Fyfe (240 games, 33 y.o), Young (80 games, 23 y.o)

If Young or Fyfe aren't picked Erasmus holds his spot.

Of note that's about 5 years and 282 games of experience potentially coming into the team.

I'm not sure you grasp what Erasmus is in the side for. He's not there to make memorable disposals. He is there to do unmemorable grunt work. Those guys you mention have very different roles in the side.

I see it as basically Fyfe versus Erasmus for a spot when everyone is fit.

I mean it’s not that. It’s more how refined his role is.
Adelaide are doing it well with Crouch, who is slow as they come and can hardly tackle.

Having FYFE AND JOM? Will be destroyed.
Watch the coaches bless JOM with the wing spot at the expense of Sharp. So predictable.

Fyfe is not even close to the player he once was. You drop even 5% at this level and your found out he has dropped a lot more than that. Sharp was absolutely dreadful yesterday. You keep banging on about O’Meara as he keeps getting 30+ and shuts down probably the best player in the comp - doesn’t make sense

I don't think you grasp how football works. Erasmus has terrible disposal, doing the "grunt" work is not enough. Erasmus only had more midfield time this week because Jaeger was a late withdrawal (on top of Young), I'm sure if it wasn't for that he would have played forward like last week. Even then, JL gave him 69% game time, the lowest on the field except for subs.
