I was in India when Australia toured there in 1997, I think it was. Aussies made them move a test to a different city because the nearest 5 star hotel was 45 minutes away.

The good old days were in the 70s. Aussie test team took a round the world trip to England to save money. They all got so blind that Paul Sheahan locked himself in a toilet so Marsh and Lillee wouldn’t make him drink anymore. He then blacked out.

Ended up with the SAS busting open the dunny on the tarmac because they thought it was an IRA attack

I would indeed consider bringing in Cox for someone like Membrey or WHE. Make sure Cameron is fresh for Anzac day along with Membrey.

My gut feel is that Charlie West will debut on Anzac day.

Just saw a bunch of the players in Broadbeach Gold Coast. ( not drinking or anything, unlike last time I saw them there ).
Must have flown straight from Adelaide for a couple of days break?

I would indeed consider bringing in Cox for someone like Membrey or WHE. Make sure Cameron is fresh for Anzac day along with Membrey.

I wouldn't swap them, but it's a fair suggestion. WHE wasn't his usual self, actually spoiled a couple of team mates and looked rusty.

True to himself he was still effective, for me he's an automatic inclusion as he's such a versatile and effective piece.

Allan I think is not suited to the sub, he's a Sidey type 4 quarter contributor, not a explosive guest star.

So while I don't agree I see the argument.

What to do with Allan? Seems unfair to handcuff him to the bench like that, boy needs to gallop all day.

Let's do away with the sub. Silly rule for mine. 4 or 5 on the bench, not a compromise.

Let him play full games in the VFL unless a midfield or wing spot opens up.

Sully or even Macrae are probably more useful if we need the HFF/mid rotation.

There’s nothing wrong with resting players, but unless they are injured resting them against the reigning premiers on their home deck after they are 5-0 is not an ideal time. Let’s wait for the eagles etc to consider rotating.

Honestly, it's not a fair suggestion. He had 8 score involvements. His disposal was elite. His efficiency was 100%. He had 8 score involvements. It's at best a weird suggestion. At best.

I like the idea of rewarding victory, seems right.

Fly has been big on horses for courses, and this year has been on the front foot about managing players.

So change seems likely.

What does Markov do well and better than players currently in the team? I have been a fan but I don't see the need at this stage. Maybe if he is BOG in the vfl but in the ,ast match against Coburg I didn't think he was amazing or screaming pick me in the seniors,
