Bruzzy is a good match up for him, but the thing is Bruzzy in that role with Howe out does make us weaker in the air and whoever then replaces Bruzzys role then makes us weaker on the ground than Bruzzy, as well as probably weaker in terms of Bruzzys run - I think it's a lose lose lose in the air, on the ground and in rebound - unless we have a quality half back to come back in - which is the following week.
What happened to Howe?

In DeGoey
Out Allan

sub Sullivan.

No need for cox to come in unless mcStay needs a break. MMM is working, why play with the formula against the reigning premiers?

Wouldn’t mind Howe getting a rest though although not sure who for.

Edit…….

If perryman is out then give a reprieve for Allan. WHE to play back.

I thought Sully out would be the go but Allan makes more sense. Little point playing the young fellow as sub again. He needs miles in those legs.

Xander McGuire just reported that Perryman is in doubt due to ankle injury sustained in the last quarter.
Didn’t say in doubt specifically just that he was proppy in the rooms after. Reckon it’s more a wait and see how the ankle feels closer to the game

McStay is replaceable. And since Cameron needs a break, Cox coming in is ideal.
We’ve played 4 games, this talk of players needing a rest is absolute nonsense.

The Perryman sore ankle is likely an inexperienced journalist in the rooms seeing a guy with ice applied hobbling around, which happens in every game of footy ever played whether country footy or AFL.

We even had someone on our board last week wondering if a player would be missing because they saw him walking past an interview with ice on their leg lol

Suspect if he finished the game on the field, he's fine.

Losing games because we got too cute with team selection, trying to rest players, is a good way to needlessly derail this season.

Drop games we don’t need to, get on the back foot, have to play harder and rush players back, more injuries, etc etc

Might as well go full steam early on and see where it gets us and then worry about resting in the last couple of months of the season (if we’re in a position to) when our draw opens up.

It was Xander McGuire who said that Perryman was proppy after the game and that he has a suspected ankle injury that may or may not keep him out against Brisbane.
