Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

odds are too low for me, although if he continues his form (which i think he will), he will be taking home the brownlow again this year in my opinion
Tread warily with Gazza as the past 2 winners, Bartel and Cooney, polled terribly in the year after their win. I'm pretty sure that Bartel started 2nd or 3rd favourite ( he had a great year ) the year after he won and he polled very poorly.
With Gazza so short you get good odds on anyone else.

yeah, it's weird how the umps are harsh on giving out votes to the player that won it previously. Bartel had a better year in 2008 than 2007, yet only polled 10 votes

I don't mind it...if you can think like an umpire you can win big :)

most umpires sound like carsen and probablly played like him too

they love political correctness

anyone who sprays them or speaks out against them won't poll

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Considering Ablett won last yr after missing numerous amount of
games - and also polled well the year before.

I think that its just a matter of staying sound.

Also, Ablett looks to be kicking more goals this year and his
possession count remains up - although probably not as effective.

Cooney has started slow, Boyd has started well - but is now out
for a bit.

Judds missed a few, but will find form - but will he be able to
snatch much needed catch up votes off an in form Murphy, who
is a big show.

Johnny Brown would nearly be leading, but its touch and go with
Browny.

Ablett is flashy, involves his team mates and does kick goals,
he buys and sells Cooney and Bartel.

If Ablett stays sound he wins.

Tab are running scared already.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

He is kicking more goals and keeping up his possessions becuase he is resting in the forward line more rather than going to the bench. He had something like 94% TOG on Sunday. Judd is good value at the moment at $13 (Sportingbet) he has a definite 3 votes already and we know how easily the man can poll.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Ok back again for round 5 determined to get some accuracy with these predictions, ive tweaked the system a bit this week so hopefully we can tighten up so far we have 2 games that we can go with here we go

tonight

wbull v ade
15.6 - 1.20 winning ratio's(probabilitys)

WB 90/105 - A 53/75 predicted scoring spread

bulldogs 24 - 40 predicted margin spread

bulldogs 31 predicted margin

syd v wce
28.4 - 3.13 ratios

SY 101/124 - WCE 69/80 scoring spread

sydney 30 - 53 margin spread

sydney 30 predicted margin

the higher the ratio's better chance of winning so far 27/32 right so far with ratios

any late changes to teams alters all of this

just 1 for tonight or 2 accually

tab code 3126 ade60/74 - wbull90/105 $14 works on final scores falling in these brackets

and

3925 a.cooney most goals $41 just a punt but worth the odds few reasons
1 he kicks goals
2 no real big forwards have got hold of rutten or ade for that matter ie: Hall
3 small forwards with 3 or 4 goals has been pretty regular agst the crows deff at $ 41 adds some intrest good luck all sat night games posted tomorrow

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

agree.
3. Griffen
2. Giansiracusa
1. could be any one of; Cross, Hahn, Hall, Cooney, Johnson, Eagleton
even though gilbee got a lot of it, dont think he penetrated much, mostly cheap touches in the back 50.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

3 goals out last night ade score was on the money

tonights games

melb v bris
70/90 - 75/100
bris 4 - 12 margin spread
bris 8 points prediction

if brownys out melb look goos especially at the line

port v stk
55/75 - 95/115
30 - 45 margin spread
saints 36 prediction

wouldn't be suprised if the saints blew this one out liike the cats last week

good luck all

I'm a massive fan of S Black and yeah he was very good on Sat night but a 50 point loss means that he could get 1 but 2 would really stretch it.
