I find it humorous the absolute outrage at this umpiring effort considering both teams were getting frees, albeit one team more than the others. Is this the part where I call people sooks, tell them to suck it up, justify it with comments like the harder team at the ball gets the frees?

Now just imagine, say in a Grand Final, a similar thing happening. Only this time one team only receives 1 free kick across three quarters of football. Now that would be an outrage right? If there was no inquiry after the 2016 GF nothing will change.

Or imagine Troy pannell paying 17 frees to 1 and the afl ticking off on it before even receiving the official complaint.

Geelong got what they deserved. Hawthorn’s bad kicking and the horrendous umpiring saved it from being a 5-6 goal Hawthorn win.
