Perryman is averaging 12.5 disposals over the last two games and was recruited to come in as a midfielder.

Meanwhile you have the 37 and 34 year old Pendles and Sidebottom in the midfield. Couldn’t one of those guys have swung back? Why wouldn’t you get games into the future on ballers?

Mind-boggling stuff. 37 and 34 years old. Wow.
Just keeping everyone fresh. You will understand when you see your team play finals.

We were missing Weightman, Bont, Jones, James O'Donnell, Treloar, JUH and they still needed the umpires to get them home.

Any one of them in and they lose comfortably
Excuses combined with tears. Just say well played pies. Thanks for bringing the biggest crowd ever to a home and away match. We will get you next time. The tears in this thread are massive and enjoyable.

There should be a threshold with the free kick differential - maybe double - where if met the coach on the losing end can go ham on the umps in the presser.

They were still two of the most influential players on the ground in the second half. Why throw a C grader in there instead?

Umpires shmumpires. Pies kick straight and they win that by 5 goals+. Inaccuracy from the pies in the 2nd half was the only thing that kept the dogs in it. Can’t believe the hype around the umpiring. Terrific win by the pies after losing a key defender 5 mins in and having no tactical sub to make later in the game.

I’m so proud of you! If roles were reversed, I’m certain that you wouldn’t be even slightly annoyed with how it all played out. Such a great example for all other supporters to follow.
The doggies made some critical errors that cost them- they lacked a bit of composure late and being such a young team (comparatively) is a big reason that happened. You won- enjoy it but don’t go putting that game up as a great performance for the pies anytime soon 😉

Yeah this one triggers me, for some reason the 15 metre rule only applies in the defensive half. A short kick into 50m is always given leeway but short kicks in the backline are always play on.
Agree with you on this. Probably because in both instances it increases the potential for scoring to materialise, and we know the AFL are desperate to increase scoring to “improve the spectacle”.

Who the **** is James O’Donnell lol

I'm sure you will change your tune on that when you lose in 2 weeks time.
There’s a bye in there, so we actually play Sydney in three weeks ;)

Agree. Lucky to get away with the win. But even great teams (not saying we are) play badly and scrape in wins. I'm sure with the talent you have in the dogs team, with a few handy inclusions, you will get us next time. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Who the hell is McGuinness?

Other than "checkers" you had a full squad. I know which way that goes if both are at full strength
Did I say anything about the health of our list? Stop crying mate.
